Dock Master's Log Day 468: What a day! Haven't seen this much excitement since those honk'n clowns hit officer Dave with the rubber mallet. First off, I have no idea how the Bar-Barsuk gained any popularity, so I can't believe what I am about to log. A bunch of rebels thought to attack the station in one of these monstrosities and in an amazing turn of events crashed into a docked Barsuk. After making some solid cash before, the outpost director brought the mess to some engineers and well, they went to town. Station Ad- Are you a fan of the color brown? Like saving money? Then stop on by and pick up the latest and greatest! The Bar-Bar-Barsuk, because not only is it better than one, it's better than TWO! -Sub is rather close to an in game Tier 3. With lower end price to match tier 3 cost for attack sub. Sub built as a hybrid scout/attack, favoring attack. The aim is to be as vanilla as possible. Each weakpoint is colour-coded to the corrisponding valve: red, blue and green; with each of these affecting certain pumps (both ballast and bildge) - A jukebox. nothing really to add there. - A security surveillance room - a coloured communication network via terminals (courtersy of Mastax "Communication Terminals" ) - A shitty lower docking port that will flood any respawn shuttle (keep that in mind) - and a aimable depth charge launcher IN-GAME DESCRIPTION Named after Jupiter itself, the Jovian is an Attack submersible designed to replace the Humpback. The Jovian features six hardpoints which is enough firepower to deal with either Europa's hostile fauna or Enemy Submarines with ease.This Submarine is the fourth iteration (or MK4), as the previous 3 designs have failed to appease test crews and clients. As prototype testing revealed several issues in functional and non-functional design. Author notes My first ever published Submarine! After about 732 hours of getting addicted to the equivalent of real-world-crack (sub editor) and contributing to Decotrauma i have finally completed my magnum opus. I wasn't kidding about the 3 previous itterations of the Jovian; Originally the first itteration was modded sub with a giant central access shaft (no hatched btw) so it constantly flooded among other issues with the mods such as the buggy-mess that is Mechtrauma , the traumatising Hazardous Reactors and the beloved Neurotrauma (originally by Mannatu, now maintained by guns ).
