Mollusca were and given their track record still likely are a very resilient creature class on Earth, thus inspiring the vessels name. It's design sparked after the return of the surface expedition's report of increased jovian radiation levels. It would be unwise to spark panic among the colonies without at least offering them some sort of a solution. With the technical success of the last expedition, another will be launched, this time deep within Europa until a safe heaven from the radiation can be found. We needed the best of the best when it came to speed, without raising alarms we entered as sponsors in the Dunwice Face-off. They were none the less irritated with our requested submarine size for advertisements, something to do with it being a submarine race. Half way through the race effort when we were sure their engineering work was thorough we had the vessel removed in a fake loss of life event. However, it turned in to a very real scenario when crawlers burrowed inside the sleeping quarters and ate the crew. With the returned report from the surface, and the slight pitfalls from the race, we aimed to improve on every aspect for this expedition. Filling just about every inch of usable space the new crew will surely be ready for anything the depths throw at them.
