In Game Description Commissioned for a Jovian Separatist navy, JSS Chassepot was to be a heavily armed cruiser submarine for raiding Europa Coalition military bases and convoys. However, an attack on the station where the Chassepot was being constructed pressed the ship into combat before she was fully fitted. With the original dry dock and parts destroyed, the Chassepot was completed with limited resources at a smaller station. Features: Double Barrel Cannon The entire sub is loosely based on the WW2 French cruiser submarine, Surcouf. The most prominent feature of the Surcouf is it's giant double barrel gun, represented on the Chassepot as 2 rail guns. The rail guns are upscaled for visual effect but not any more powerful than a normal rail gun. However, the 2 guns are slaved to each other and will always fire in a 2 shot burst. By default the delay between shots is 0.2 seconds but this can be adjusted in game by reprogramming the delay component on the rail gun periscope. Silent Running In the Navigation Terminal there is a button to toggle "Silent Running". When on: exterior lights are turned off, interior lights are replaced with dim red lights, and the engine will be limited to low enough output to almost completely silence the reactor's output (provided no other high energy demanding equipment is being used). Doors Are NOT Automatic! Inspired by the foundering of subs in history, and to save on electrical components, the doors on the Chassepot are all manually opened and closed. Only exceptions are the hatches on ladders between decks. Remember to close doors behind you to prevent flooding or leave doors open to drain water into the vents faster. Water Drain Vents Between the 2 main decks runs a series of vents that serve to redirect water from the deck above to the ballasts or bilge pumps while leaving the deck below dry. The vents are just tall enough to crouch in and can be accessed from the ladders between decks. The main ballast tank and the fore trim tank are only accessible by crawling through the vents at the fore of the ship. The doors to the vents and ballasts cannot be opened from inside and do not have air ventilation. Be careful not to seal yourself or your crew in these confined spaces. The JSS Chassepot is available in tier 1, 2, and 3 variants! Each version of the ship represents a different time in the ship's life. Tier 1: How the ship was after it's first battle interrupted it's construction. Tier 2: The ship upgraded to how she was originally intended. Tier 3: The ship after receiving further upgrades. While less efficient, the small reactor enables significantly longer excursions from the main ship.

The Ballast Tank

A single room. Nothing else. This entire shuttle is a ballast tank. Punish your respawning teamattles trying to come back with this singular shuttle. If they want to submerge, it WILL fill up with water. The ilumination changes in correlation with the water level currently in the shuttle. It has two electrical discharges controlled by periscope to defend itself, but be careful! The battery drains very fast! And yes, you'll have to repair a lot. Waterproof junction boxes doesnt exist yet! :)

FIX: Blast doors should work now, turns out they were too close to walls.
