We have stripped away all of this extraneous baggage and left behind the blistering cutting edge in submarine delivery services. 80 Kilometer lateral acceleration. Up to 35 kilometer diving speed (though be careful about going up). Intelligent auto-corrective navigation tools to make it all extremely responsive. Though it does behave a bit finicky with the auto pilot... but who needs auto pilot? And a full unit load device crammed in there so that you can carry any goods around the ocean to where they need to be. And if the receiving customer isn't willing to receive... We have the love stick. The love stick allows one to deploy a depth charge at a *comfortable distance once you have succesfully jousted your opponent. Arm it, and then simply ram into the opponent at top speed and watch them enjoy their gift. Unfortunately, we require you to sign a waiver before purchasing this submarine. Legal nonsense, you understand. We are not responsible for any injuries received due to... High Pressure either from the ballast letting in sea water via a duct OR from the entire front half of the submarine exploding once love is delivered. Any of the direct effects of a depth charge going off nearby. Accidental navigational errors as inexperienced pilots lose their footing in the ballast. Or any of the other innumerable ways you can hurt yourself in this death trap. Random final notes... You don't have to use depth charges. You can hook C-4 up with detonators to that pole up front. This is a modified version of the original Cast Iron submarine by Doge the Biologist. The main changes are: - Replaced the drone with a very modified version of Zyleand "Glimmer Drone" - Added fire permission control to captains periscope controls -Added emergency switch, with alarm sound & lights, wich also grants fire permission to all turrets. -Changed light system to act as battery -Added battery recharge control -Linked constructor and deconstructor to the same storage, so its fully automated. -Rail gun is now changeable in sub shops -Changed a rail gun storage for a normal ammo holder Turret selection column: Green light means fire is allowed. When both green lights are turned on then turret is manned and ready to fire. Periscope always has permission to fire the controlled turret. Swicth at drone button is the master to allow follow mode of the drone. Under the nav panel is the emergency switch. Theres another one in the nav panel GUI. Battery Terminal: Battery recharged is automated, but you can choose how much charge in reserve you want. In the terminal you can choose 1 to 4 charge levels, level 1 is like original sub. level 4 fast recharges to almost full battery. Select 1 when mainlly calm and stationary, and 3 or 4 for heavy fighting&manouvering for prolonged time. Lights have its own batteries, wich last for 3 minutes once reactor and main batteries are dead. When depleted,the emergency lights will turn on. Manual light control switch is removed. Custom Glimmer Drone: This drone features a secure cabinet on the left, O2 stores on the right (not rechargeable), and a switch on the right to turn follow mode on/off. Divers can toggle it depending on situation. The follow mode will only work if enabled on the captains controls. Laser gun depletes battery quickly, capacity for only 4 or 5 shots. Also moving around will consume the battery. Range is 200m . When near or out of max range, yellow lights and follow mode will turn on, overriding both captain master and local switch, so that a diver can go fetch the drone back. When battery charge is below 25% a warning red light will turn on. If battery fully depletes divers can still push it back to docking port.

A submarine that exists as more of a tech demo than an actual commercial sub, the SRIB-0 Anomalocaris is the result of many hours of hard work from the researchers in the SRI Biological research department. It is a bio-mechanical submarine that uses 2 lab-grown Thalamus brains for its electrical system, and multiple other Thalamus organs to power or support other portions of the vessel. Research grants for this project were approved after the management was shown a prototype of the Thaumiel. ============================================== Disclaimer The insides of this are made to look like the insides of a creature(sort of), pls do not continue using if you start to feel squeamish. I personally felt a slight urge to throw up after staring at this thing for like 5 hours because the background is really busy and noisy with all the wires/blood vessels going all over the place. Design Elements Sources I am using the 5-component reactor autocontroller from this mod About Design I got the idea for a ship half-operated by a biological...creature that has basically grown into all the machinery from a book I read years ago. I was reminded of this idea when it randomly popped into my mind while browsing the workshop, so I searched around to see if someone else had a similar idea. Turns out, somebody did, and they made a really cool sub The Thaumiel. I pulled certain design elements for this sub from that one as well. Now, unfortunately the "bio-mechanical" part of this sub is only aesthetic in nature. If possible, I would want to make it so you'd have to inject morphine into the sub and use foam to patch leaks or something, but that'd take some actual modding and I'm not sure I have the time to do that. To access The ballast tank properly you need to shut the trapdoor above you to be able to walk back and forth.
