The Herculean

Heavy submarine designed to be easy to recover from being sunk. The reactor and electrical control rooms are housed in the core, accessible only via an airlock from below. This prevents flooding of key electrical systems regardless of the number or severity of outer hull breaches. The junction boxes are arranged and labelled such that critical systems can be prioritised for repair. The submarine also features a full suite of manufacturing facilities, ample cargo storage, mineral scanning capabilities and a generous arsenal of weaponry. Theese make the submarine ideal for extreme-duration missions where self-sufficiency is a must.

The Kuroi Dangan-Class Submarine is a Heavily Armoured and Armed Attack-Class submarine. With a purpose of being able to take a heavy hit and ram into its foes, this sub is equiped with a heavy duty set of 2 railguns, 8 coilguns, and an electrical discharge array on the upper front side. Though a little cramped in space, it is an excellent all-around vehicle.

Armed with only rail guns, the sub is armed with 6 smaller subs that can stay attached and fire OR detach and protect the sub. Technically shuttles, I call them "fighters." These 6 fighters add an epic variation to the game allowing players to detach from the main group to scout and come back(As they are faster than the main sub). Please see comments below for use with campaign as Barotrauma is buggy with shuttles at this time. Sub too big? When EBER taxis filed for bankruptcy, Europa Custom Retrofitters eagerly purchased the rights to their hyper shuttle design, enabling them to introduce their first mass production model of submarine. Replacing the luxury cabins with a fully functioning medbay, armory, and secure storage facility, and adding a top mounted rail gun and electric discharge coils, the Charon is one of the fastest, most manueverable, and deadly scout ships on the market. Designer Notes: Not too much extra here in the way of automated systems. Upper and Lower discharge coils help with gun blind spots. 3 coil guns, 1 rail, 1 depth charge. This sub is very fast, and while somewhat responsive, I advise captains to use auto pilot whenever possible. Includes an isolation chamber for artifacts in front bottom outside the only airlock. Balanced for campaign/traitor play. Armory/Medbay/Command doors are id locked, but containers are not. Spare Security Clearance IDs in the captain's safe. Lots of loose vents. A hidden weapon or 2. Small brig included. Not filled to the brim with resources like most subs, this is a great campaign starter for both multiplayer and single player (game calculates the cost of sub at less than 6k! in fact I raised the price manually a bit!!!) I encourage everyone to report any bugs/improvements. *UPDATE* After lots of playtesting, the sub is still quite overpowered and is typically too easy to run in most situations. An updated Deep Diver version will be released soon that addresses many of the flaws of the current design.

Includes a number of quality-of-life changes to reduce friction in certain aspects of the game to focus on the richness of the game experience. Monsters drop more loot: Crawler, Mudrapter, Spineling, Hammerhead, Moloch, et al. Plants gather more quickly. Minerals and materials have larger stack sizes. Some tools stack while in storage cabinets. Mechanic includes a Talent that allows increased skill growth. Some storage cabinets have slightly higher storage capacity. Scooter only requires 1 hand; Cargo Scooter is 50% faster and carries more. Mineral names includes the chemical compounds. Deconstructors have more input slots.

Lua for Barotrauma not required! This is purely XML mod. Adds Infected Wounds for Bleeding and Burns to every world hostility setting, not just above Hard, so you can have these without worrying about creatures overwhelming you. Compatibility: - Neurotrauma already implements its own Infected Wounds affliction. You do not need that mod in this case. - Do not install this mod with other medical related mods as they might override this mod, and also my mod can override these depending on load order. Unless we get partial overrides (cough https://github.com/Regalis11/Barotrauma/pull/9779 cough) this will be the case. Sure, you can use Lua to edit XML on the fly, but due to prefabs not being networked properly to clients you're essentially forced to have clients also install clientside Lua, which is not ideal, but it's better than a full override.
