Blight & Marrow gives the Corruption and the Crimson the sovereign bosses vanilla never got around to. The Hallow has Queen Slime and the Empress of Light; the evil biomes have borrowed mechanical bosses and nothing of their own. Since a world only ever has one of the two evils, each boss is built to carry its own worldgen path on its own. - THE HOLLOW KING - A hardmode boss for Corruption worlds, summoned with a Rotted Heart at a Demon Altar once a mechanical boss has fallen. He does not burst you down. He wins by attrition: Withering stacks eat away at your maximum life and block your regeneration, while ebonstone spikes and grasping shadow tendrils shrink the space you have left to move in. At half health he tears open the Corruption and drags the Eater of Worlds up to cross the arena. Drops the Witherbrand, a post-mechanical broadsword that sweeps a corrupted arc and leaves Shadowflame and Cursed Inferno behind it. - COMING - The Crimson Matriarch, a counterpart for Crimson worlds built on flesh, blood and lifesteal, where the King is built on rot and patience. Adds a Red Dead Redemption 2 style deadeye mode. (Not 1-1 as RDR2) Every kill grants a deadeye charge. Every charge is 2 seconds of time slow.
