Modified Recipes Recipes for certain items have been manually rebalanced in this pack. Crafting recipes for overpowered items have been made more challenging, especially for Better Classes and More Terra Weapons. This ensures that powerful weapons cannot be obtained too easily and fit better into the game's progression stage. Conversely, some tedious or overly expensive Calamity recipes have been simplified. For instance, the recipe for the improved Rod of Discord (an item that can be used via a dedicated hotkey) has been adjusted. These recipe tweaks are already built into the Chill Calamity Pack. No extra configuration is required. Goal of the Pack The main idea is to make the playthrough rich and diverse, but without excessive grinding or unnecessary tediousness. The pack is designed for a complete playthrough featuring world exploration, character development, hunting for new gear, and the gradual mastering of Calamity content. Auto Gear Rearm is a mod for Mediumcore players that saves your character's current equipment and inventory layout. After dying and picking up your dropped items, the mod attempts to automatically restore these items to their previously saved slots. Items picked up that were not part of the saved layout will be moved to other available free inventory slots if they are occupying a slot needed by a saved item; if no free slot is available for them, they will be dropped. How to Use: Equip Your Gear: Arrange your armor, accessories, vanity items, dyes, miscellaneous equipment (pets, mount, etc.), and inventory items (hotbar and main inventory) as desired. Save Loadout: Press the "Save Gear State" hotkey (default is apostrophe: '). Check and configure this key in Settings -> Controls -> Keybindings -> Mod Controls -> "Auto Gear Rearm: Save Gear State". A chat message will confirm if the state was saved. This saves your currently active equipment loadout and non-favorited inventory items. Play as Mediumcore: The mod's re-equipping functionality is active for Mediumcore characters. Die and Recover Items: If you die, your items will drop as usual for Mediumcore. After respawning, go and pick up your dropped items. Automatic Re-equipment: As you pick up items that were part of your saved loadout, the mod will attempt to move them back to their saved equipment or inventory slots. If an item you pick up (that was not part of your saved loadout) is occupying a slot needed for a saved item, the mod will first try to move it to any other empty inventory slot. If no empty slot is available, that occupying item will be dropped at your feet. Note: Press the "Save Gear State" hotkey again any time you update your desired loadout. Each save overwrites the previous one. The saved loadout persists across deaths until you save a new one or quit the game. Better Boss Rush

First mod I've made, please report any bugs in the comments! I was playing IEOR with HWR and was having fun and all until I got to the boss rush. I know I didn't really have to complete it, but I felt like I was missing out if I didn't. I then realized one glaring problem with Calamity's boss rush: it gets really boring, especially with a lot of bosses. Fighting Tier 1 bosses for the 120th time after dying to the Exo Mechs or something can get really boring. Having to trudge through the same 40 or so bosses just to get to the actual engaging bosses (as in the ones that actually pose a threat to an endgame character) is not fun or exciting. I could've made it so that once the player beats a tier, they will always start on the next tier on subsequent attempts, but I felt this took away from the boss rush aspect of the Boss Rush. That's why I learned tModLoader to make this mod as a way to improve the boss rush in a way I see fit for the event. What this mod (currently) does by default: - Reworks tiers 1 and 2 by making them a "blitz." - During tier 1, the player will have to fight 3 bosses at once. (usually the pretty easy ones) - During tier 2, the player will fight 2 bosses at once. - The rest of the tiers are unchanged, as I felt that the difficulty was fine for them. FAQ Q: Some mods don't work with this mod! A: Currently, I have to add supported mods manually. If you want to see support for another mod, comment the INTERNAL NAME of the mod. Note that you must put the mod that adds the bosses AND the mod that adds the bosses to the boss rush (if they are two different mods). Q: A boss doesn't work well with this mod! A: Make sure the boss is in a supported mod (currently supports the content mods found in IEOR, its addons, and Fargo's Souls + DLC). If it is, attach the name of said boss and why it doesn't work well. I may have missed a few bosses when making this. The current default exemption list is: - Wall of Flesh - Profaned Guardians (Calamity Mod, only exempt if IEOR is also enabled) - Providence (Calamity Mod, only exempt if IEOR is also enabled) - Ceaseless Void (Calamity Mod, only exempt if IEOR is also enabled) - Slime God (Calamity Mod, only exempt if IEOR is also enabled and will be taken off this list once bugs are fixed) - Pharoah's Curse (SOTS) - Subspace Serpent (SOTS) - The Materializer (Homeward Journey, only exempt if on Master Mode) - The Overwatcher (Homeward Journey, only exempt if on Master Mode) - World's End Everlasting Falling Whale (Homeward Journey) - Wall of Bronze (Cataclysm Mod) - Avatar of Emptiness (Calamity: Wrath of the Gods) - Astrageldon (Catalyst Mod) Updates are planned, this is just to see the amount of interest people have in this mod! The current update roadmap is (in this order): - COMPLETED: Initial config update, which will start with a way to decide which tiers are turned into blitzes. - COMPLETED: Full differentiation between Tier 5 and IEOR's Tier 6. (as the mod currently considers both Tier 5) - COMPLETED: Exemption list made available for change, which will allow the player to select which bosses will always spawn by themselves. - Different "modes" besides blitz for tiers. You first spawn in with the "wet" Debuff for one minute, you gain back the debuff for one minute every time you enter or get really close to a source of water. if you lose the wet debuff you light on fire until you get it back (or if you decide to abuse obsidian skin instead go for it) this race has low damage and low max HP but regenerates HP and mana really fast, along with also having about double the movement speed of a base terrarian. they can obviously breathe and swim underwater. their primary race ability gives them: night owl, Mining, lucky, dangersense, spelunker, and shine potion effects for two minutes, although gives potion sickness for 3. Each can be toggled via config. Let me know if there's any unintended side effects to this; I think I found most common ones and fixed them, but Journey Powers specifically are one I'm not sure how to fix and there might be other examples out there.
