Long story short, I was inspired by how in old calamity, things got very overpowered and you could just beat providence in a couple of seconds with endgame gear, and I decided to edit all of Terraria progression to somewhat resemble those old days, in the process I also rebalanced some things to be better if they aren't good to use, so a lot more things should be viable. Also some very rare things, are even more powerful so if you put extra effort, you can get pretty strong for your stage in progression. Another neat feature is a lot of new rarities to fit a theme. This code used to belong in my old Terraverse mod, but that was cancelled due to not having the time or experience for it and losing motivation, so i took all this code out, did final polishing and published it here in it's own mod, I hope you enjoy! In this mod, ALL melee is true. Not just swords but scythes, shortswords, yo-yos, the zenith and literally anything else that's fun. Upgrading them can also grant abilities that launch the user upwards, similar to Minecraft's Wind Burst. Author's Comment I like the mace weapon in Minecraft. I often watch videos of pro players using it on YouTube. So, I thought I'd try making a weapon in Terraria that deals damage based on the fall distance, and I did. Personally, I'm quite happy with it. When I actually tried using it in a boss fight, it was very difficult to hit targets with, making it a bit awkward to use. Control momentum, reflect attacks, and unleash devastating acceleration abilities that turn physics into your weapon. What Are Vectors? Vectors are quantities with magnitude, direction, velocity, force and momentum. So essentially everything that moves in this universe, Accelerator controls them at will. Reflecting bullets, redirecting his own vectors to fly, and manipulating every physical interaction through calculations. This mod translates that into gameplay: redirect kinetic energy, reflect momentum, and control collision physics. Core Mechanics: Energy System Powers use Calculation Energy (100% capacity). Energy regenerates at 20%/second after 4 seconds of inactivity. Each ability has progression tiers unlocked through use, reducing cooldowns and increasing effectiveness. The Three Acceleration Abilities Projectile Acceleration: Press key, then fire. Next projectile gains 3x velocity and 2.5x damage at max tier with cyan electric trail and physics equations. - Progression: 3s cooldown down to 0.5s at 10,000 uses - Awakened: Free energy cost, enhanced effects Mob Contact Acceleration: Press key, then attack.
