Turning ON the Game Instructor (Options -> Multiplayer) is RECOMMENDED - or just read the description. Established in 1912, the "Rockford Station" served the citizens of Rockford City and the passengers on the Crescent transit line, connecting New York with New Orleans. With the outbreak of the Green Flu, it began serving CEDA, and later the U.S. Army instead, as a hub and an evacuation center. Once the infected had breached the station, however, the soldiers retreated, leaving what was left of the local population to fend for themselves - most evident in their military cargo trains no longer hitting the breaks at the station's platforms. A Survival map that puts you against waves of zombies, and speeding trains, within the perimeters of an Amtrak train station located in the suburbs of Rockford City - loosely based on the real-life train station in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The map features: - Trains! (Who would've guessed!?) - The military might be gone, but their cargo trains still make the rounds! Two trains periodically drive through the station at full throttle in both directions, plowing through everything in their path, infected and Survivors alike! Keep an eye out for the light signals above the tracks - yellow lights warn that a train will pass soon, and red lights indicate a train has already spawned in! - Protection from the trains for Bots! - Don't worry about your Survivor Bots walking straight onto an oncoming train - the map features a system that will, 99% of the time, keep the bots from being turned into fine paste on the tracks, as long as they aren't pinned, stunned or dominated by something. - Plenty of supplies and viable spots! - Ever got tired of official Survival maps that contain like one or two spots viable for holding out? Here you have plenty - each packed with a few essentials, such as an ammo pile, a set of grenades, gas cans, and so on. Some also contain Tier 3 weapons and defibrillators. Replaces Hunter's screams with the Volatile's roars from Dying Light. Sounds extracted from the game and ported over to Left 4 Dead 2 by me. Credits to Techland for the sounds. Credits to Zenhax forum for providing the audio extraction tools. ----------------------------------------------------------------- How to make the sounds work: (I suggest making a back-up of the entire sounds folder in case you want to revert the original sounds without pressing "verify integrity of games files".) 1. Download GCFScape 2. Open the downloaded VPK file and locate the sounds 3. Drag and drop them into the right folders and hit "replace". 4. Go into the game 5. First things you may notice are the broken menu sounds and stuff like that. To fix this, run the console and type in "snd_rebuildaudiocache". TIP: I suggest putting your game into windowed mode so you can do something else while it loads the command, as this takes a long time and will freeze the game. You cannot alt+tab out of the game while it loads. Once it is done, the console says that it has finished the process. 5. Run "snd_updateaudiocache". Mine took only 8 seconds to complete. 6. Once you have activated the two commands, type in "exit" to the command prompt. This will exit the game. Next time you run the game, the sounds will work properly. NOTE - These commands may take from 4 to 20 minutes to run, depending on your computer and SSD/HDD (mine took a bit less than 4 minutes to run the rebuild command, I have an HDD of 7200RPM.) ----------------------------------------------------------------- Mod works best with BuffaloAlmond89's Volatile mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=896207442

Late Afternoon Hard Rain Color Correction

A color correction for Hard Rain only. I wanted to push the already late Hard Rain even later by bringing out broader oranges, browns, and yellows to depict late afternoon and accentuating the campaign's already superb late-day effect. The return journey during the rain storm now, I feel, fits the atmosphere of the first maps a little bit better, as it now takes on more purple hues and reddish undertones rather than the extremely bland grey and almost yellowish-green hues of the original. This will only affect Hard Rain. It may unintentionally affect some custom campaigns that use Hard Rain's color correction. I can't help that. This was also tested with and designed for the default skybox. It may not look good with custom skyboxes. Please let me know what you think below, and if you like this, please consider checking out my other color corrections.

安装方法 1.在根目录Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop里找到订阅的vpk文件，用gcfscape打开，取出里面的7z压缩文件，再解压出压缩包里的文件 2.在Left 4 Dead 2\left 4 dead 2_dlc2到dlc3两个文件夹对应的sound\player\survivor\voice目录下把namvet文件夹删掉，再把解压出来的文件夹对应地放进去(把文件夹里的音频删掉再把新的音频放进去也可以) 3.启动游戏，打开控制台，输入snd_rebuildaudiocache，等待重建音频库完成，再输入quit，重新上游戏就可以了 4.如果输入snd_rebuildaudiocache后游戏崩溃，可尝试输入snd_updateaudiocache进行更新音频库 How to install 1. DO NOT PLACE THIS VPK INTO YOUR ADDONS FOLDER. IT WILL NOT WORK IF ENABLED FROM THE GAME. 2. CREATE A COPY OF YOUR EXISTING BILL VOICES. This is located at left 4 dead 2\left4dead2_dlc3\sound\player\survivor\voice\namvet. You should have namvet - Copy 3. Leave the copied version of the folder alone, and DELETE EVERYTHING INSIDE THE namvet FOLDER 7. Place EVERY SOUND FILE INSIDE left4dead2_dlc2\namvet inside the namvet folder. 8. Finally, Open L4D2 and open the console. Type: snd_rebuildaudiocache 9. The previous step will take some time to complete. L4D2 may appear frozen but DO NOT CLOSE IT - it's working on the sound files. When it is done, the console window should pop up saying that the cache has been rebuilt. Type exit or quit to shut down L4D2 10. Re-open L4D2, and the voice pack should be ready to go. 11.
