A little mod I made for myself - an outfit for Ellis for colder weather. I wanted an alternative outfit that would fit in, which in this case includes: - Ellis' coveralls worn up (I'm convinced it's originally two sizes too big for him) - Top of coveralls unzipped to (look cool) show off the original t-shirt - A puffer vest with hood attached (probably looted off a clothing store's children aisle) - Rips and stains of various origin all over the aforementioned items. This is my first mod, as well as first encounter with 3d modeling and texturing. Some crutches had to be used. There are minor clippings and stretches in some animations - expect them to stay until someone teaches me better. Bile textures and custom UI elements present and working. All the custom clothes' models, textures, as well as ui imgs (and the cover art) were hand-made by me, myself and I. If you had told me the protagonists of Rain World, Everhood and Trepang2 were all working towards the same goal, I'd have called you a madman. This is the variant of the VHS-D2 used by the Special Ops forces in Trepang, those guys with the distinctly English accents who of course act all tough and organized at first, until the moment the first bullet goes through one of them and then they're all "AOH FACKING NORA ON WELLINGTEN AVENYOO OI GO'A MAYK LOIK PRINCESS DI THROUGH THE WENDSHOYLD AND MOSEY ON OUOOT T'LET THE AMERICENS HENDLE EVERYTHOING - AGEN." Well okay they don't exactly sound like Phil Collins over there but you get the idea. This replaces the Counterstrike SG552 on it's own animations, retargeted to L4D2 by me. I really want to try and find the walk cycle the guns all use but I can't find the animation to save my life, so for now I gotta use the one I typically put in my mods. Maybe if I'm able to find it, I'll retrofit it onto this and the last Trepang gun I did. I hope you like it. There's a M16 version you can try out over here. Realistic Flashlight Range

I don't see any mods increasing the range of the flashlight, they usually only change the texture or the radial size. Well here's a realistic change for the range of it. Now, obviously there's all kinds of flashlights with different brightness and such but let's not get bogged down with details. This is what I think is a realistic range for a typical rail mounted tac light. I highly recommend you use a flashlight radial size/texture mod alongside this. I'm using Better Flashlight which is in the image above. There's also another good one: Actual Flashlight which I only found shortly after making this mod, this looks really nice! Of course you can subscribe to only this mod alone if you really like the vanilla flashlight. Only works for local servers Modders note: It really is just a simple convar on director_base_addon.nut r_flashlightfar 1000 (default is 750) You can get the same effect by putting the above in a server with sv_cheats on, but its probably a bad idea to play with randos with that on lol If you have any feedback or suggestions please let me know. ======================= April 23: Thank you folks for making this popular for the week
