This mod adds new mobs to the corruption and crimson, adds 3 new bosses and a whole new biome! Mobs: The Cruelmeera is a more powerful Crimera. The Shadowbolter is a corruption enemy that shoots beams of shadows. The Eater of men is a unicorn style enemy from the corruption. The Horrous is a unicorn style enemy from the crimson. The Voidling is a pre-hardmode chaos elemental for the void. The void toad is a pre-hardmode Herpling for the void. The void frog is like a gliding slime in the void. The Abyssaling is a charging enemy in the void. The Abyssal serpent in a worm enemy for the void. The void floater acts like a Roomba but in the void. The bouncing pebble is a really rare slime-like mob that spawns underground. Bosses: The Spine of Cthulhu is a crimson boss that is also a worm, it shoots out blood, has a lot of health and is rather slow. The Corrupted eye is a ranged eye of Cthulhu from the corruption, it shoots out purple spit shields and vile spit. The Abyssal monstrosity is a void boss, it slowly walks up to the player while shooting barrages of void projectiles. The Soul of Cthulhu is a hardmode void boss, it slowly flies around while shooting tons and tons and tons of projectiles. Spirit Sword

This mod adds a sword that scales with monster kills. The sword is added to your inventory on player creation, and can't be re-added if deleted (The sword isn't lost when dying in mediumcore). Boss kills are unique and grant a larger bonus, but can only be collected once per boss. Kills are tracked in the tooltip. The scaling is supposed to be slow, but it is infinite, meaning the weapon can theoretically become too powerful, but that would require deliberate and long farming (statue kills are disabled). Typically, monster kills add up to incremental buffs and unique boss kills act as multipliers for the incremental buffs, so progress will be slow at first and then speed up according to the amount of bosses killed. Damage, attack speed, crit chance, knockback etc. all scale. The sword itself has three modes, cyclable with a right-click: - Spirit Blade (Primarily DPS) - Sanguine Cleaver (Lifesteal and support) - Sword of Fortune (Farming and loot) Each mode scales a bit differently, and each has unique "checkpoints" that grant them special effects while using that particular mode. Checkpoints are gained after the required amount of enemies has been killed and at least 1 boss, since the formula for calculating the checkpoint score is (amountOfMobs_Slain * amountOfBosses_Slain), meaning you need at least 1 boss killed for the amount to not be 0, regardless of the number of monsters slain. The effects are revealed on the tooltip of the weapon itself as soon as they are unlocked. The effects are: Spirit Blade: -base: Deals an additional hit when striking an eneny. The hit scales alongside other stats. -checkpoint 1: Has a chance to grant a "double-strike" while attacking. -checkpoint 2: Gains an additional hit, making it three hits per attack. -checkpoint 3: Attacking spawns homing spirits, akin to spores from Spore Sac accessory. -checkpoint 4: Attacking the same enemy grants +1% stacking damage buff which resets upon switching the target. Sanguine Cleaver: -base: Has lifesteal that scales. -checkpoint 1: Low chance to deal a big hit with 100% lifesteal -checkpoint 2: Inflicts a damage taken debuff and a slowness debuff. -checkpoint 3: Low chance for attacks to reduce the Potion Sickness debuff by a little (if it's present, of course). -checkpoint 4: Increases the effectivness of all previous Sanguine Cleaver effects. Sword of Fortune: -base: Enemies drop 15% more loot when killed with the Sword of Fortune. -checkpoint 1: Increases the luck stat and increases rare mob spawnrate. -checkpoint 2: When killing with this sword, gain an additional soul & gain more money. -checkpoint 3: Small chance to gain double loot from enemies upon killing them with this. -checkpoint 4: Small chance to spawn a 1 hp clone of the enemy you just killed, letting you kill it again for more loot and souls. All weapon modes share the same fifth checkpoint, converting the sword into the Sword of Truth, which combines all the effects of the other modes. The mod is intended to be used for a unique, 1 weapon, playthrough where you only use the given sword for the entire game.
