Map Markers This mod is inspired by JourneyMap, a minecraft mod. Place a marker at your character's position and view it on the minimap, overlay map, or fullscreen map. Mark a location and leave notes for your next visit. You can share markers with friends or use them as teleport destinations. Creating markers - Name your marker and add notes to it. - Choose a recolorable circle, rhombus, or triangle. - Use vanilla item sprites, item sprites from loaded mods, and vanilla or modded boss-head icons. - Search the icon library or filter modded items by source mod. - Choose a color preset or use your own RGB values for recolorable icons. - Edit the name, notes, icon, color, or position of a marker you own. Managing your marker list - Favorite a marker or hide it for your character. Map Markers keeps both choices attached to that character. - Bulk select multiple markers and apply Favorite, Unfavorite, Hide, Unhide, or even Delete. Teleportation and respawning - Click-to-teleport is enabled by default on a marker, use it from the map or marker list. - Choose one marker per character as a teleport-on-respawn destination. - Server owners can restrict teleports during boss fights and invasions. Separate settings cover PvP and the 10 seconds after taking damage. Multiplayer ownership and sharing Your own the markers you create. You can edit their contents and position, choose who receives access, or delete them. Players with access can view a marker, manage their personal favorite and hidden states for it, and use its teleport options. There are three sharing modes for each marker: - For myself: keep the marker private to you. - Share with specific player(s): choose players to invite. - Share to everyone: grant access to every player on the server. Subworld Library support Map Markers records the dimension where you placed a marker. Even with Subworld Library installed, it will show the correct dimension for each marker. Feedback and bug reports are welcome. ================================================================ ================================================================ ENERGY Energy is measured in Joules (J). Rates are J/t (60 ticks = 1s). Cables joined together form one shared energy pool. Heat Generator Burns fuel for 40 J/t. Pauses when the network is full. Fuel (burn ticks): Coal 600, Torch 120, Ash Wood 90, Gel 80, Wood 70. Coal Ore / Coal Generates underground on new worlds. Mined Coal is the most efficient generator fuel. Universal Cable Connects machines into a network. Uses connected textures (shows what it is wired to). Stores nothing. Energy Cube Storage. Capacity 1,000,000 J. Right-click to view. Charger Transfers 250 J/t from the network into a chargeable item placed in its slot (e.g. Power Drill). ORE PROCESSING Vanilla rate is 4 ore : 1 bar. The standard chain here is 2 ore : 1 bar (2x). Bars produced are vanilla bars; the only new items are dusts. Enrichment Chamber 1 ore -> 1 dust. 30 J/t, 4000 J per op. Energized Smelter 2 dust -> 1 bar. 30 J/t, 2000 J per op. Industrial Crusher Upper tier. Crafted in hardmode (hardmode anvil). Normal ore -> 2 dust (chain = 1 ore : 1 bar). Hardmode ore -> 1 dust (chain = 2 ore : 1 bar). Can crush hardmode ores. 60 J/t, 8000-16000 J per op. Dusts: 8 pre-hardmode + 6 hardmode (14 total). MINING MACHINES All have an internal chest, run on network power, and open a UI on right-click. Restrictions (all miners): - Only natural terrain and ores/gems are broken. - Tiles a Gold Pickaxe cannot break are skipped (evil stone, hellstone, hardmode ores, etc.). - Tiles supporting a placed object (above/below) are left intact, so machines, furniture and chests are never destroyed. Block Breaker Breaks the single tile to its right. 500 J, every 45 ticks. Internal chest: 10 slots. Tunnel Borer Set a direction (up/down/left/right) in the UI. Bores a 2-wide tunnel that way, up to 250 tiles. Skips what it cannot break. 300 J/tile. Internal chest: 15 slots. Digital Miner Scans a 1000x1000 area and mines only ores/gems. Toggle Ores / Gems in the UI. 1500 J/block. Internal chest: 25. Quarry Set a width (5/9/16/24) in the UI. Digs the area to its right, top to bottom, with a drill head. 600 J/block. Internal chest: 25 slots. CRAFTING & PROGRESSION Components (at an Anvil): Machine Casing = 5 Iron/Lead Bar + 10 Stone Basic Control Circuit = 3 Copper/Tin Bar + 5 Gel Machines = Casing + Circuit + extra materials (Anvil).
