Roll The Dice (RTD) Feeling lucky? Type /rtd to roll one of 62 temporary effects. A roll might make you faster, tougher, stronger, better at exploring—or leave you dealing with a dangerous drawback until the effect ends. Features - 62 beneficial, harmful, combat, utility, mobility, and conditional effects. - Server-authoritative multiplayer synchronization and announcements. - One active effect per player with a configurable roll cooldown. - Server-side settings for enabling effects and changing their duration, selection weight, and strength. - Localized activation and expiration messages describing the rolled effect. How to Play Enter /rtd in chat. If rolling is enabled, you have no active effect, and your cooldown has finished, the dice will select an enabled effect using the server's configured weights. Implemented Effects Stats and Survival - Haste — Move faster. - Iron Skin — Gain additional defense. - High Jump — Increase jump speed. - Regeneration — Greatly increase health regeneration. - Battle Fury — Increase all outgoing damage. - Rapid Fire — Use items faster. - Lucky Strikes — Gain additional critical-strike chance. - Glass Cannon — Double outgoing damage, but reduce defense to zero. - Berserker — Deal more damage as your health falls. - Stone Form — Gain major defense at the cost of movement speed. - Turtle Shell — Gain defense while moving slowly. - Moving Target — Gain defense while moving quickly. - Last Stand — Gain defense while below half health. - Paper Armor — Lose all defense but move faster. Mobility and Traversal - Featherfall — Fall slowly and ignore fall damage. - Heavy Gravity — Experience stronger gravity and reduced jump speed. - Endless Wings — Continuously refill equipped-wing flight time. - Wall Climber — Enable wall sliding and wall jumps. - Water Walker — Walk on water and honey. - Lava Walker — Walk on lava and ignore lava contact damage. - Gills — Stop losing breath underwater. - Flipper Feet — Swim and move through water more effectively. - Anchor — Prevent knockback but reduce movement speed. - Slippery — Accelerate and brake as though moving on ice. Exploration, Building, and Utility - Spelunker Vision — Highlight nearby treasure and ore. - Hunter Vision — Highlight creatures through terrain. - Danger Sense — Highlight nearby traps and hazards. - Torch Bearer — Emit a strong white light. - Wire Vision — Reveal wires and actuators. - Architect — Increase placement and interaction reach. - Master Builder — Place tiles, walls, and furniture faster. - Mining Frenzy — Mine and hammer faster. - Treasure Magnet — Increase pickup range for items, hearts, stars, and coins. Combat Effects - Giant Slayer — Deal more damage to bosses. - Executioner — Deal more damage to enemies below 20% health. - Armor Piercer — Gain armor penetration. - Close Quarters — Deal more damage to nearby enemies. - Sniper — Deal more damage at long range but attack more slowly. - Frostbite — Apply Frostburn with eligible hits. - Burning Touch — Apply On Fire! with eligible hits. - Venomous — Apply Venom with eligible hits. - Ichor Edge — Apply Ichor with eligible hits. - Cursed Flames — Apply Cursed Inferno with eligible hits. - Shadowflame — Apply Shadowflame with eligible hits. Harmful and Restriction Effects - Sluggish — Reduce movement speed. - Weakness — Reduce all outgoing damage. - Brittle Armor — Reduce defense without dropping below zero. - Slow Hands — Use items more slowly. - Dull Blade — Reduce melee damage. - Silence — Prevent the use of magic-damage items. - Starving Mana — Disable natural mana regeneration while still allowing instant restoration. - Webbed — Apply Webbed movement restrictions. - Chilled — Apply the standard Chilled movement penalty. - On Fire — Take standard On Fire! damage over time. - Cursed Inferno — Take standard Cursed Inferno damage over time. - Bleeding — Disable natural health regeneration. - Confused — Reverse horizontal controls. - Electrified — Take movement-sensitive electrical damage. - Short Reach — Reduce tile and item interaction reach. Conditional Effects - Daylight Power — Deal more damage by day and less damage at night. - Moonlight Power — Deal more damage at night and less damage by day. - Biome Attunement — Gain a stat bonus based on your highest-priority matching major biome. Multiplayer and Configuration To configure the mod while hosting a world, open Esc → Mod Configuration → Roll The Dice. You can also configure it before playing through Workshop → Manage Mods → Mod Configuration → Roll The Dice. The main page contains the global enable switch, roll cooldown, and announcements. Open Effects to change every effect's enabled state, duration, selection weight, and strength. These are server-side settings, and active effects are synchronized so players receive the same authoritative result and expiration state.
