A letter to all participants: Thank you for volunteering in the Dism-Ember Experiment. On the Isle of Dism-Ember (a translated name of course), a recent volcanic eruption has ravaged the island. With all human life escorted from the island to safety, it's the perfect environment to hold a risky, dangerous experiment away from civilization. Volunteers in the experiment please be aware of hot lava pools, live electrical shocks from damaged hardware, and piping hot steam geysers that may pop up at any moment.
