Welcome to the official re-release of Silverlan's addons. The almighty Silverlan himself had given me permission years ago to recode and maintain his addons. I've kept my word and they're now here, fully fixed up and all conflictions are fixed! This SLVBase expansion includes a very large amount of NPCs from the Half-Life series. SLVBase is the original base that all of Silverlan's addons have been running off of for many many years. When Garry's Mod 13 came out, SLVBase was included with all of his addons so you didn't have to download multiple items. I myself, have taken all of the base files and put them into one addon for easier management, instead of updating each addon independently. Will this conflict with VJ Base, CPTBase, etc? Nope, all conflictions have been fixed. You can now use any of those addons without any issues :) Can I make my own mod on this base? Certainly! This is not my base by any means, I was just given direct permission to maintain it for everyone and to ensure Silverlan's legacy continues. A reminder this is a PACK. This does not include the melee base, which can either be spy's cw2.0 melee or Cturiselection Base. Cturiselection (CWC) Base can be found here. Melee's arent my huge thing, but here we go! I will update this when new melees are made. So far with four melee items: These sweps will pop up under a different category, CW 2.0 Cturiselection Melee Ghost Dagger A simple knife with slash/stab mechanics. Can swing when sprinting. Thor Hammer Wield the power of prop pushing! A reasonably slow but strong melee that can launch props afar. Cannot swing when sprinting. Crowbar Your inner Freeman: has multiple functions. Can swing when sprinting. Primary: Reaches far, decent damage, and can push objects away. Secondary: Short reach, fast but weak attack, easy for combos. Tertiary (USE AND RIGHTCLICK): Powerful blow with minimal reach but massive damage. ~Keep still to deal the most damage. Unarmed Mighty fists! Has sprinting animations, but cannot swing when sprinting. Primary: Left jab Secondary: Right jab Attack + USE: Performs a powerful hook with shorter reach. Hold attacks down for automatic swings. ~Damage is multiplied by your speed, you can charge or leep with a swing and it will be more powerful than standing still. Most of these weapons will require the Alternative Viewmodel Position (Utilities>CW2.0SWEPS>Client) to be ON. otherwise the viewmodel will just look bouncy and dumb, and not intended in how i made it. Contains a Navmesh and is fully info_noded, including air nodes. HDR and LDR Supported. This is an abstract vertical Sandbox map made with entirely custom materials, up to 2048x2048 pixels in size, consisting of a large pitch-black chamber lit by an opening in the ceiling, revealing a descending spire of marble stairs, pillars and platforms. All that remains of a place long ago consumed by the void. Key Points : - A layout based on verticality, which lends itself well to NPC combat. - Secrets to discover in the darkness. I started working on this map after I released gm_obselisk, originally intended to be a smaller map but I really enjoyed how the layout was coming together so I expanded it and eventually this is how it turned out, I am really happy with how it turned out in the end, I hope you like it! The USP .45 for the CWC collection. I cannot find the source at the moment, but i can say that the model was found on Gamebanana.com. Model, as far as i can recall, is from Kimono. Note: This CAN work with standard CW2.0, but for the best experience, use the Cturiselection base extension Cturiselection Base Extension can be found here. Typical handgun microT1 and laser attachments, but a pretty hefty weapons even compared with the cwc rifles.
