To make it work on any maps 1) enable developer console 2) type in sv_cheats 1 3) make sure your crosshair is on the nico nii bot and type nav_mark_walkable 4) next put in nav_generate and wait for it to finish ( this can take a min or two )

Whether through his shadowy in-game appearances, or through the many Gmod memes. Normally, throughout all of Half-Life 1 and 2, he only watches Gordon Freeman from afar, on some unreachable ledge or platform; but what if he was a lot more direct in his approach…? ===== Map Details Summary ===== So several weeks back,I released a video entitled Half-Life 2 but G-Man won't leave me alone; it showcased an alternate scenario, staged in Black Mesa East, wherein G-Man stalked the player directly, almost constantly, throughout the whole map; no other NPCs bore any response to him, and if the player remained in his direct vicinity for too long, they would get disconnected from the game. The video received an outstanding response from the community, many people even asking for a full mod of the idea; while I'm not sure about modifying the whole game to be like this yet, I will give y'all this; a demo mapset featuring the mechanic! Features included: ~ Three (Four) demo maps of the G-Stalker demo; they are named as follows. d1_trainstation_01_gstalker d1_trainstation_02_gstalker (don't load this one directly unless you get caught) d1_eli_01_gstalker d1_town_01_gstalker ~ In each map, the G-Man will appear in various places and begin to follow the player; if he remains too close to the player for too long (indicated by the screen fading out), the player will face one of two consequences; if you are in Half-Life 2, you will be disconnected from the game and sent back to the main menu. If you are in Garry's Mod, the map will automatically restart. …this difference is more of a technical thing. ~ Also, to specify, yes; this can be played in both base Half-Life 2 and Garry's Mod; for the ideal experience, please play it in Half-Life 2; if you're not one to crack open Gmod addon files, a direct download of the map files is available at the link below. ~ You cannot dispose of the G-Man completely; that would completely undermine the purpose of this "mod." So don't even try it, bucko. (12/30/2023) I'm sorry, but currently in my life, I do not have enough time to work on this idea in particular. But absolutely anyone is free to continue this idea in my stead. My first one is "gm_castaway" and I'm suprised it did so well in the workshop. I never expected it to do so well! Anyways, "gm_heaven" is a map that I initially worked heavily on details, But since the version of Source that Gmod uses is a nightmare to work with, I had to limit the detail to the bare minimum :( Gmod's Hammer Editor is a broken mess and makes it impossible to make maps for. And also Gmod's version of Source cannot handle too many models with alot of detail. Just don't expect too much work from me on Gmod. CS:GO's Hammer Editor is amazing, I can see that Valve made it incredibly stable and made the lighting waaay better to work with. So I might start making more CS:GO maps. Drivable Boats + Advanced Air/Water Drag Simulation

Have you ever thought "the HL2 airboat is great, but I wish it were way slower and less cool and couldn't move on land"? Probably not but I made this anyway. This addon turns the little boat props from HL2 and Lost Coast into bona fide vehicles. These are not simply airboat reskins - they use a custom drive mode and drag physics simulation to behave much more like real boats. The controls should feel familiar though: sprint to max out the throttle, walk to halve it, crouch to toggle third person, scroll to zoom etc. The blue HL2 boat is the least cumbersome and most of the systems were designed around it, so it tends to be the most pleasant to drive and look at. Besides the spawnable vehicles, you can effectively create your own ones by using the Boatify tool on any prop to turn it into a drivable boat and editing its properties in the context ("C") menu. These can then be saved as dupes. Currently you can configure engine power/position, forward direction, seating position, and first-person view position. This system is currently very barebones, but I may add to it in the future. Features: - (Almost) fully simulated hydrodynamic/aerodynamic drag, using an adaptation of the method shared by Project Borealis here. - Tool to simulate this drag on any prop - yes, this works in air too! Complex phenomena like lift are not simulated though, so it may not be suitable for building planes. - Water splash effects using the same system. This involves simulating again on the client - to save frames, you can turn this off using "cl_advdrag_effects 0" in the console. - Original animated engine model. Textures sourced from Annie Spratt, Tanya Barrow, Yan Ots, Frank Weichelt, Trina Power, Mike Hindle, and Takis Politis on Unsplash. Possible future features if I get around to them (read: probably never): - Missing simulation aspects i.e. pillow effect, rotational drag - More usable boat models - Make water inside the boat invisible - Better sounds - Water turbulence so the ride isn't perfectly smooth Maps in the screenshots: fy_rivertrek, gm_construct, d2_lostcoast, and gm_coast_prewar_v2 If you have a bug report or feature request, please post it in the discussions section where it's easier to... discuss. This project is only a hobby so I can't make any promises that I'll get around to implementing anything, but I'll try to fix any serious bugs and consider any popular requests that aren't too much work.
