Nano-bots With our new, custom nano-bot technology, our machines have the capability to fix themselves over time. But why would you need it to heal itself, you ask? That is because our machines have Health Gauges. These nano-bots will fill the health gauge 1 hp every 2 seconds. Holographic LEDs With our patent pending "Holographic LEDs", we are able to show you the physical integrity of your machine, the net-credit you will gain upon access, the label of the printer, and the owner. Credit System You hate having stack and stacks of money? Here's the solution. Instead of having to pick up stacks on stacks, we made I system where when you slap your machine with your hand, the net-credit in the machine is transferred right into your pocket! Coolant System Some of the higher-tier machines will require "Coolant" to maintain working order, and optimal printing speeds. If you fail to supply enough coolant, your machine will began to over-heat, and eventually explode. Destructible Previously, many servers use the boring old printers that will only break if they set on fire, dropped in water, or hit with a stunstick. Now, to add in some fairness to the authorities, we have the capabilities for bullets and blunt objects to "damage" the machines. The health gauge will drop, according to the damage received. Upgrade Kits With a new advancement in modern-day technology, civilians can now buy upgrade kits for their machines! These upgrades come in nicely packed boxs, paper stacks, and electronic components, and will improve production rates, speed up your printer, make you more money, protect the printer from damage, cure cancer, and keep your machine running better! They come in three tiers for each one! - Armor Upgrade This upgrade adds more health to your printers to withstand more damage. Located downtown Ascot is a well known place called Alley Triste. No one knows who coined the term as origins as to where they came from have been disputed. Don't let its small size fool you, the place is infamous for being the breeding grounds of most criminal activity. The basement of 49 East 11th Street also acts as a storage area for gangs and a place to sleep for the homeless. Law enforcement is cracking down on Triste harder as time goes on but has managed to put up a good fight. A week before I started working on Triste, I finished Battlefield 4. Not only was the campaign such a huge improvement over Battlefield 3, it also looked ridiculously good for a 2013 game. You can go up to me, tell me this game was from a few years ago and I'd believe you. The Shanghai mission was also particularly evocative visually as it was just completely drenched in rain. I wanted to translate that into Source. I whipped up the dev version in about an hour. I decided that func_precipitation was not going to make this map look good since the rain looks awful and sucked performance wise. This was switched out for a particle system that works differently (i think) with much better effects. The rain materials was made by the wizard Jasper Carmack, an absolute legend who I cannot thank them enough for the work they put into making a flexible rain shader for me.
