With the success of my other map made a month ago, gm_canyon_dam, ive decided to make a larger, more open type map, with its vast and open waters and its amazing sandy beaches, its stylized hl1 theme never fails to look this nice in the source engine, with over 50 custom textures, custom skybox and a fire custom tracklist for the disco, it creates a nostalgic feel to the map. Taking reference from many games, from the far cry series to the classic half life franchise, ive used these ideas to manufacture the base to my map, since its a hl1 / goldsrc styled map, ive had to stick to some restrictions. they where to - not to use cubemaps (i might use in the future idk yet) - not to use displacements (all the terrain created was made out of brushes, making the process alot longer) - not to use props / custom content other then textures and sounds. for being such a massive sandbox map, there was alot of detail i could fit in. such as buildings / places on the map which are included are. - 2 main islands and another 2 in the outer map - massive body of water, (air-boat is really fun to ride around with) - a small village / town - radio tower - wooden bridge - hidden disco / easter egg - lighthouse - plenty of tents / boxes / barrels around the map (boxes and barrels are destructible) - alot of palm and pine trees, which fits with the style - 2 docks for your boats - ai nodes, (80 percent of the map is ai noded) - a plethora amount of windows to smash / destroy - many custom brush props (sticking to goldsrc restrictions) - shipwreck - underground cave / mineshaft - two way elevator / bunker Basically a source map with nice lighting and water but with goldsrc styled textures, which was such a blast to create and make, without the help from my supporters and the hammer discord community, i wouldnt have the motivation to complete my map. HALF LIFE 2 & EPISODES REQUIRED! Just a buggy map i made for me and my friends to play, that turned out to be my longest and biggest project ever. I recommend to play this map with a friend, although you can enjoy it entirely by yourself. There are some puzzles, platforming, bosses and a lots of fighting. Rules: -Don't use physgun and tool gun. -Don't use noclip. -Don't spawn any items, props, npcs etc. -Touch the crate on spawn to receive all already acquired weapons. Also I did a pretty bad job at explaining what exactly you have to do in order to advance, ask me in the comments if you don't know how to move forward.

This is the old addon with the retail weapons, I don't plan working on these anymore. You can download the OWF build weapons here. This pack contains the weapons from the game Hunt Down The Freeman (30 in total). The weapons included in the pack are: - 1911 Pistol - AK47 - AR2 (Pulse Rifle) - AWP - Axe - Binoculars - Claymore - Double Barrel - Flare - Grenade - HL2 Pistol - Kar98 (Sniper) - Knife - M16 - M67 Grenade - Machete - Revolver - Minigun - Molotov - MP5SD - Night Vision - PainKillers (Health Pills) - Pistol (M9) - Rem700 (Remington 700 Sniper) - Shotgun - Sig 556 - Skorpion - TMP - Wrench - One Shotgun (Double Barrel) Each firearm have an Ironsight, except the Double Barrel, which has a double-shot function. The M16 and the AR2 has a "special attack" that can be activated with the "Use key + Right click" (Use key is E by default). The Double Barrel has a flashlight that can be attached to the gun with the same key combination of the "special attack". This pack includes the ammo system from Hunt Down The Freeman, you can find the ammo and some other entities on the "Hunt Down The Freeman" section on "Entities". Some NPCs like the Combine Soldiers are able to use some of the weapons from the pack. -On the latest update i added a menu on the tab section "Utilities" located on the top right tab sections from the Spawn Menu were you are able to do things like enable/disable the crosshair, the HDTF effects, and do some other things, including changing the bodygroup of mitchell's hands, however, about the hands, not all the weapons contains the other two hand types. Because of this, i made it so you can choose a prefered hand type to show up while the other only shows if the prefered one is missing. "I tryied decompiling the weapons and giving the hands bodygroups to those that didn't have them, but some weapons have diferent sizes and bone names, so i needed to actually resize some of the hands and rig them to the other weapon's bones, but i don't know how to actually do it, so instead of actually trying to learn how to rig just to do this, i decided to just add the hands to those weapons models that were compatible with them from the start".

The map is what it looks like, big and beautiful. The map goes very high like all my other maps too. The river has no start, sorry for the silly thing there. There is also a small twister of sand on the map that will appear, don't get to close or you'll be sucked away! The map is pretty good for testing a car dupe on or playing with the river. I was not able to get another map out for a while now because of me playing on a lot of GMod servers, sorry. Aslo, I had issues with the 3D Skybox in the past because I was trying to make it on my own. However I was able to get some help from one of my friends and revitalize it better! Thanks Clone!
