Gunkanjima (survival)

Hashima, commonly known as "Gunkanjima" (meaning Battleship Island) is an abandoned coal mining town located on an island about 9 miles from Nagasaki, Japan. In operation from 1887 to 1974, it has since been abandoned and fallen into disrepair thanks to the island's harsh weather conditions. The map features a repeating weather cycle: every five minutes, the sky darkens, the fog thickens, rain starts pouring and water levels rise. It has been ported from the Trouble In Terrorist Town map by JimOnions. Many thanks to him for creating this beautiful map and allowing me to release my version. I added the necessary survival content, weapon/item spawns, post processing effects, additional props and a new nav mesh along with a few secrets. There are two hidden "Danny Devito"s (corpse sitting in an office chair) in this map (one is a ghost) and one additional ghost woman. Can you find them all? This is a survival map. The versus, scavenge and coop modes are not currently supported and you can only select them because the mission text refuses to work otherwise. Known bugs: - There is an FPS drop during the weather transition. I need to find a toggleable alternative to the rain particles. By overwhelming demand here is my campaign Dead Getaway on Steam. The survivors have made it to the escape vehicle. On the way to the evacuation site the road is blocked with lines of empty vehicles. The APC plows through the lines, smashing cars in its wake. Eventually the APC breaks down.... The survivors need to find away to the military evacuation site. English: Hello everyone! Reichs-Commissions-Revolver Model 1879, more often referred as Reichsrevolver M1879, was service revolver of the German Army until 1908 when it was replaced by Luger P08. Later this revolver was used by non-frontline troops in WW1 and even in WW2. The Reichsrevolver is a somewhat strange weapon (including compared to other service weapons of the period, including the German contract Single Action Army). One of its features is the characteristic lever safety on the left side. While this might seem like a good idea, in practice it is somewhat disappointingly only blocking the hammer cocking. There is also no built-in ejector; this allowed some Internet-journalists to make ridiculous claims that in order to reload the Reichsrevolier allegedly had to disassemble and knock out the shells with a cylinder rod. In reality, the ejector was a separate stick (metal on the M79 and wooden on the M83), which was worn separately on a string attached to the holster; any other on-hand item could also be used if desired. The origins of this strange idea are still obscured; most likely, it was done trivially for quicker removal from the holster or from the belt. While the rest of the revolvers used a retractable ejector for this, in this case it was probably decided to simplify the design due to this. There were also many commercial variants produced by firms such as Dreyse. They existed in various configurations, very different from each other, including the pocket and top-break models. This mod replaces the Pistol slot in the game (no custom sounds included). You thought it was a feature? Nah. Like blunt melee weapons, slash melee weapons were originally intended to play melee reaction animations when killed. However due to a typo in anim_common.mdl these never play, Oopsie. Correcting this typo allows it to function as corrected. This small change actually makes slash weapons a lot more equal to blunt weapons in terms of balance. No longer can you just rush past horde events with your trusty bread slicer, like gabe intended. Requires xdR to function, uses slot 29.
