Ayo built-in flashlight! I wanted to do a bit of mixing with the MP5's model, rather than have a flashlight ziptied somewhere close to the barrel, I opted to use a foregrip with a built-in flashlight since those exist for the weapon anyway. The model is built off of Global Offensive's MP5-SD, completely removing the suppressor foregrip and remaking the stock barrel from scratch, while supplying it with the Enlightment Foregrip from PAYDAY 2. So now the model looks similar to Condition Zero's K&M Sub-Machine Gun rather than the original Source version. Uses Nerdie's updated animations. Lavender Clarity No Mercy Color Correction

This is a color correction for No Mercy. I wanted to give this campaign more color and an overall less depressing feeling while also keeping it fairly dark, yet at the same time not sacrificing vision as some other color corrections do. Here the brightness should actually be pretty much the same as the original campaign but it should feel a little more atmospheric, dark, and varied in terms of color. December 5 Update: Now includes custom made lightning strike color corrections. This will only affect No Mercy. It may unintentionally affect some custom campaigns that use No Mercy's color correction. I can't help that. This was also tested with and designed for the default skybox. It may not look good with custom skyboxes. Please let me know what you think below, and if you like this, please consider checking out my other color corrections.

What really helps to avoid crashes is dividing the high-poly model (mostly the w_models, but the v_models are better to be optimised, too) into several SMDs instead of just one. I did that to all the models I am using, but kept the original 2K textures, and I am playing custom campaigns without issues. A good example: an HQ G3 that previously was making my game crash when someone with that weapon gets killed by the Witch or pounced by the Hunter. After the model got divided into several parts, no more crashes. The only problem with that is not all weapon mods are that easy to optimise: broken animations/meshes after re-compiling are not a rare occasion. Low-end PC owners probably still can crash while playing with weapon mods with high-res textures. A friend of mine was playing on a potato PC, and they had to remove all the high-res mods because the game was quite unstable. Sometimes. But in general, reducing the texture resolution does not necessarily help against crashes if the model has a hell ton of vertices and is not divided into several parts.
