After WWII, it was modernized and also mounted as an AA gun on various armored vehicles. In Russian service it was almost completely replaced by NSV and Kord, so its appearance in Modern Warfare is as justified as the AK-47. Replaces the Browning M2 HB .50 cal turret (model only) The model had a remarkably hideous hexagonal barrel and lacked a front sight post. Since I had to separate materials to make the barrel glow, I also smoothed it a bit. The gun itself is rather hastily attached to the default L4D2 tripod. I tried adjusting hand positions, but even the default ones are glitchy. AK-47 - L4D1 Rifle Animations

Took me some time to get around to this, didn't it? You'll be happy to know the wait was worth it. This is the regular ol' AK-47 on the L4D1 animations of yore. This is compatible with retextures. I made an overhaul update to the L4D1 Rifle animations and I felt it was an excuse to get its variants out the door as well. Here's a general breakdown of what's going on with this new compile, because I'm sure you L4D1 crazies would appreciate this: -The animations have been manually transfered to the L4D2 rig in same style with what I do with my KF2 work, to improve the quality of the animations on the L4D2 references. -The origin setting has been modified to reduce the visual of clipped clavicles. -L4D1 had the idea of using proceedural bones, which is uncommon for view models. But because L4D1 and L4D2's Ulna joints were created on different referencial axii, the proceedural bone VRD couldn't be translated between one another, which is why there's that infamous wrist bending in the L4D2 hunting rifle animations. To rectify this, the Ulna helper joint has been manually animated to remove unwanted bending in the arms. The forearm and thumbroot helpers have also been manually animated for similar reasons. -There were two unused fire animations in the M16; the L4D1 animations had the idea to have several fire animations in the same style of CS:S. They've been re-added into the compile and because the integrity of the server-side sequence order is maintained within the client compile, this will not affect you or other users in any way when in dedicated servers or local servers, respectively. -The AK's animations have been altered to keep the hands better positioned on the rifle without altering the mesh or its scale. -The reload has been adjusted to prevent visual clipping with the magazine. -The AK's deploy has been given an experimental bake that uses a combination of the Rifle's deploy and the Autoshotgun's reload to operate the bolt. The result was not flawless and the left arm is a bit robotic, but I felt it was an interesting touch. -The AK has inherited the joint of the L4D1 auto shotgun's bolt, so that the bolt may be operated during the deploy. The joint was also used to animate the bolt during the fire animations. Source Files: The source files to the M16's animations and the variations used to make the AK-47 and SCAR versions can be obtained here. These are not the source files to the animations compiled in L4D1 proper and I will not release them. Survivors Apologize After Getting Someone Boomed

Simple VScript that makes the survivors say sorry if they happen to kill a Boomer and have another nearby survivor get boomed in the process. Although not demonstrated in the video, as a bonus, unused unique "boomed" lines have a small chance of playing, only applies to Ellis and Rochelle though, because only they have those lines. This will only work in singleplayer or a locally hosted server.

Adds a HP / Health display to all Special Infected except for the Witch and Tank. Uses the HP material proxy instead of VScript, allowing it to be used on multiplayer servers. This is a model replacement which means it will conflict with remodels but not reskins. Allows you to see the HP of the Special Infected as a percentage. This mod technically allows you to cheat because the display will glow in the dark and hovering over the SI heads is like a big arrow pin-pointing to their location. Being able to see the location and health of the SI is information you would not be able to see in vanilla gameplay so it will give you an unfair advantage. I could make a version that is less cheaty by disabling the display after a certain distance and would require you to look directly at the SI for the HP display to show up but that requires abit of technical finesse which is abit too complex for me at this moment. That said, this mod is best used on modded servers that significantly alter the SI health to be extremely tanky or adjust weapon damage like the AWP/Scout to be able to 1 shot SI for example. If you are able to look past the unfair advantage this mod would give you, then I hope you can appreciate being able to see the damage that you deal to the SI during gameplay. It is quite useful to make sure you are hitting your shots especially if you play on high lerp where your bullets can visually pass through the SI model yet do no damage. This mod will help you to check if your shots actually connected. It is also nice when you are watching the gameplay as a spectator. It will work as long as the SI Health is not greater than 32,767. This is the integer limit of a signed 16-bit integer. An engine limiation so theres not much I can do sadly. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it. If you like it, don't forget rate it up ^w^
