These screenshots were taken with the FOV set to 51, the default value. Please note that this mod is basically a model mod, due to the nature of how the animations for each weapon is implemented. (Animations are inside the model instead of being a separate file like the Survivors.) Tired of some of the melee weapons - especially the chainsaw - blocking most of your screen? Don't like seeing the inner-arms of your Survivor when you increase the FOV just so you can see? Fret not! I have a solution! This moddifies all the melee weapons (except the unused Riot Shield) to be a tad lower than before! Warning This will conflict with any melee mod that replaces the v_models due to the animations being included within the models themselves. Want all weapons to have Minmode? There's a pack that includes everything as a single addon! Versus In November 1st, 2018, an update was released to the game that disables mods in competitive game modes such as Versus. You can read about the blog post here. In short, "Competitive," servers are basically any game modes that allow the player to take control of the Special Infected. Game modes such as Scavenge, Versus, Realism Versus, and even Versus Survival have mods automatically disabled on Official Servers. Game modes such as Survival still allow mods despite having a competitive community due to the fact that players cannot play as the Special Infected. You can still bypass the no-mods enforcement by doing the same thing as how installing mods work for the original L4D game. Follow this guide, but for your L4D2 files. You do not need to download Python. Just follow the First Time Setup to get your mod folder working. Then look for the addon itself in your left4dead2/addons/workshop folders and search for 2291201193.vpk. Copy & Paste it into your new mod folder and rename it to pak01_dir.vpk.

This mod smoothens just the player model. Arms are a separate addon, made for people who have a modified player model (new hat) but also want smoother arms. (get them in the linked collection) Also, because these models crash when too many decals are added (like blood when pounced by a hunter) i had to make a "surrogate" material. This surrogate loads the original textures as a patch and adds a nodecal setting. this allows reskins to work properly, just without decals. When vomited on, the material swaps to the "default" vomit overlay without decals. i could not properly implement the nodecal setting properly. So material will be different, but texture itself will be correct. Note: This drasticaly upps the polycount on the model. I would not reccomend using all "Smoothing" mods at the same time, as everything together is quite a heavy load, which makes your game prone to crashes. 将游戏内第一章（死亡中心）和第三章（黑色嘉年华）的部分海报和广告牌进行了替换。 本来是自用的，工坊里面也已经有不少类似的东西，但是本人用过之后非常无感，而且本人并不喜欢原神的瑟图，所以改成了自己喜欢的图。 目前本mod存在三个问题： 1，用miku兔子洞替换的商场关卡的巨幅海报存在抽搐情况，这个动图本身只有12帧，我删了一帧，但还是不连贯，当时懒得改了所以效果可能并不好。 2，第一章有一张梅泽的动图出现了错位，我不清楚是不是裁剪的时候出了问题，但是同理，当时改了n张图已经身心俱疲所以先这样吧。 3，嘉年华的部分海报未作修改，而且音乐会背景采用的桔梗感觉有点小了。 原本打算将游戏内所有可见图全部做修改的，但是你知道的，人的精力并非无限，所以我也不确定会不会有后续，只能说，兄弟，江湖有缘再见。

Kalashnikov AKS-74U with a solid stock from Payday 2 The actual Soviet AKS-74U (S means "folding", U means "shortened"; it always has a folding stock, otherwise the whole compactness concept is effectively ruined) has a side-folding stock which, to be honest, makes the gun much thicker when it's folded. It fills a rather weird niche, having a pathetic effective range for an assault rifle while being arguably too large and powerful for a tank crew's PDW. It perhaps is most useful in counter-terrorist CQB scenarios. Replaces the "Submachine Gun" (model only) Whenever this gun is misnamed as "AK-74u" it must imply the rifle doesn't have a folding stock, resulting in this abomination. Being often misclassified as a submachine gun means it's gotta be an Uzi compile. This was also my Model RNG training ground; as I have learned it doesn't mix well with bodygroups. The randomization has since been replaced by a second skin which currently appears nowhere in the base game. This animation set makes the gun look absolutely huge (like 25% huger than it has any right to be), so I guess I won't be using it often. * THIS DOES NOT COME WITH SCRIPTS THAT GIVE RESERVE AMMO FOR THE M60 A port of the M60 model from Military Conflict: Vietnam, with actual reload animations to boot as well. Few things to note. the viewmodel is slightly more heavier than the vanilla model (atleast around close to 70k tris) and I've already tried reducing the polycount on areas where parts wouldn't be normally visible, and the thirdperson model uses a completely different texture due to the UVs so any attempts at retexturing this model will be more of a hassle than it's worth.
