(Old) L4D1 Beta Video-Styled No Mercy Color Correction

For anyone who's ever watched some of the pre-release footage of L4D1's demos, you'd notice that beta No Mercy seemed to have this nice high-contrast effect, which put a lot more emphasis on the map's lighting. This effect was caused by the shitty camera equipment people used to record pre-relase gameplay rather than how the game actually looked, but I kinda liked the effect, so I decided to try and simulate it using color correction. While it doesn't look exactly like it does in the beta gameplay videos, I'm pleased with the result. This will naturally conflict with any other mods that change the color correction of No Mercy, like Dethly's "HD air" color correction mod. Also, sorry for the black bars at the top+bottom of all the screenshots, I had the game in windowed mode, and I didn't think it'd screw with the screenshots lmao.

There is also a coffee machine on this tower, which creates pharmacies. If you jump on the letters, it teleports into traps. The glass in the tank toilet can be broken. You may notice a clock on the walls. They show the time how long you are already in the game. These innovations were created for yourself and friends, but I think you will like to play with such an update! It was a simple replacement I made a long ago but that I never released because it's not that game-changing. Bullet tracers & Smoke trails (+ Lasers)

-- English -- I was looking for a good particle add-on to enhance bullet tracers, since I love the feeling of seeing the bullets fly past me (Not irl tho xD). But I couldn't quite find one that suits my likings. I do found one but then I discovered several particles are stored into a single .pcf file. This was a problem because it prevented me from having several extensions I liked active at the same time to achieve the effect I was looking for. So, since no one had done anything similar, I challenged myself to learn how particles were made and try to do it myself :3 Mod concept The idea I wanted to achieve was actually pretty simple, adding smoke trails to bullet tracers to make them look a little bit better. I used the Dim Bullet Tracers made by Luneyl comes in as a base. So credits for him/her. Then I added the vanilla tracers back again with a little changes here and there since his/her tracers only were the smoke trail. And that gave the tracers that feeling of "traveling throught the air" on a more noticeable way. Althought, I took the luxury of playing around a bit with the particle settings. I made the smoke trails a little bit more dim and made them dissapear faster so they don't block the view completely. And what's this? A very questionable looking model, really pink? Well long story short, i've been busy with my own stuff and i use my spare times learning in l4d modding, slowly. Experimented on so many cool furry models to replace survivors with, but only this one i managed to finish and ready to post. Why? Because most of the models i experimented with are copyright protected by their respectful creators, so i ended up just scraps it. Yeah I know it's pretty dumb, but i learned a lot from playing with these models, let's just say it's just my fun way to learn modding :) Why Female Guilmon? Beacuse she just looks nice (if you know what i mean), plus the model was not copy protected, and i want to give out something new for you guys. ;3 I've tried my best on censoring the model to be SFW enough, but i know you guys gonna notice some... Higher quality hud icons twice the original size for the weapon panel and progress bar made from the viewmodels. This version has the medkit and pills from L4D1 but not the pistols. The CSS weapon icons are made from the Refined CSS Weapons collection by ihcorochris and the defibrillator and bile icons are inspired by Real, actual HUD icons by Alex_D_Vasilkov.
