first map - learning hammer++ King of the hill map Very flat, gonna mess around with verticality and displacements on the next try. Skybox was a bit rushed. Sniper sightlines are a bit crazy from the tower, but hopefully the open roof will allow demomen on the capture point to arc grenades at campers up there. The top of the tower is clipped to avoid soldiers raining down hellfire upon spawn. I feel like health packs are a bit scarce, probably made worse by the fact that there is so much high ground causing fall damage. I thought the planks in the rampart of the barn were pretty cool though. Engies have a full ammo box below the walkway to the shack on the left side from spawn to set up a nest on the roof. The roof of that shack is pretty susceptible to snipers too, its all open air. Still yet to playtest. Might make changes in the future ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ There are some textures which are bugging me but whatevs. Probs gonna mess around with other game modes though?

Harvest (Control The Keep)

Harvest, but it's ported to Control the Keep. Gameplay-wise Control The Keep plays very similar to King of the Hill, except the point must be held continuously for 45 seconds to win. Capping resets the timer for the team who caps. Games can go by in less than a minute or drag on for a while. Also works with TFbots. I reverse engineered broken King of the Hill logic from Valve’s map leak last year. Turns out, that logic is very similar to a new gamemode, Control The Keep which is being developed on by the mapping community with the map Green River, please check out their project.

This map is a combination of Helltower (plr_hightower_event) and Carnival Of Carnage (sd_doomsday_event). (No its not mixed together, you get teleported from one map to another. Also this map is a bit broken, but the broken stuff makes this map a bit more enjoyable.) When you want to enjoy this map and you hear: "Spell coming at you!", you know you are going to have a bad time.

Five Way Door

Marvel at the mat_fullbright 1 as you use the five-way-door! Get close to the door from the side to open it. Get away from it to close. Jump on the Z-fighting door to go up. When you go up, the door gets locked for a bit. Stand on the top of the door to go down. (You have to fully stand on the door for it to work) I haven't tried it out in multiplayer, so please report any bugs to me. Have fun! ;)
