"All you need is a car and a tank of gas." Based on the old Cadillacs of the good old Mid-Americana and the aptly named Rockabilly aesthetic. This is my entry into the Americana Warpaint Contest. To be honest, this is probably my weakest work, as multiple parts of this warpaint had to be scraped or where I was unable to proparly executed it. As stated in my other works, any criticism of my warpaint is valid, so long as it's constructive. And thank you for Voting for my submission.

Warpaint based on a 1950s television set. This is my second entry for the americana contest held by Painters Workshop. Saccharine Striped used as base. The idea came about from research I was doing on said era, I ran across many a AD about dolls, toys, dresses and of course, televisions sets. I noticed that many of them were made of very expensive wood, often re-furbished and with a lot of shine, one of them being made from darkened rosewood, which is the one you see here.
