Originally, the plan was to make Bill, & then Francis, but at some point I realized that Francis' vest would probably give me absolute hell to work with. ...Turns out I was right! That vest was an absolute nightmare to work with & I'm glad to have it mostly out of the way now! Making the gloves reskin compatible was a real hassle, too... (The gloves are a new model, but fitted to Francis' body texture.) All in all however, I think this bad boy's finally ready to ship out. I've teased those of you who follow or have seen my screenshots long enough, so I hope that it's to your satisfaction. Bill should come around much faster once I get started on him, but I do have commissions to attend to first! These are done as a kind of fun side project I'm doing for free, after all. Oh yeah... Unfortunately, I had some major issues with Francis' Last Stand rifle animations, so I couldn't bring them over. His old ones also put the rifle into his head, so I opted to use Coach's rifle animations instead. Everything else is all-Biker, though! With all of that out of the way, enjoy! In 2009 we thought the Military would replace the M4 with the FN SCAR... In 2022 the US Army finally really did it, with a MCX Spear, calling it the M5... Now you can have the real deal, with some slick MW2019 animations to boot! Features only model, animation, and textures, sounds are provided as a separate file. This gun's attachments were configured modestly in order to reflect the same level of immersion as the base-game's SCAR. The Attachment setup in question: - "flashlight" = L3 ATPIAL (aka: the AN/PEQ-15) - Iron sights = KAC Micro Flip Up - Buttstock = Magpul SL-M* - Muzzle = SIG 6.8mm SLX "smuzzle" hybrid suppressor - Magazine = Lancer L7AWM (i.e. literally just an AR10 mag, hmmm...) *(note: original model made a hybrid between the Magpul SL-M and MOE stocks, I am in progress of altering the mesh to more accurately represent the SL-M stock actual gun ships with) *(note: mesh of the handguard was changed by me to match the shape and contours of the final production model MCX Spear; original model was based on the prototype, I did the same elsewhere on the model too like the 12 o'clock picatinny rails) The "smuzzle" hybrid suppressor is present because the real rifle is issued with one by default. But to his surprise rather than pulling out a scaly creature with a destiny as a pair of boots of the soon-to-be variety, he instead pulled out something even scalier in the form of a horrific mutant AR-15 for his use. He flung off all the swamp gunk on it and prepared to show those gators what happens when they show up cold turkey on Coach. The swamp gunk meanwhile flew onto Nick. You cannot get any more American than an AR-15. It's the pinnacle of the free world and a staple against any that wish to undo the fabric of reali-liberty. AR-15's share a common characteristic with that of frogs in their ability to naturally convey the conditions of their environment around them. Where a frog would grow three legs and five genitals if raised in poor environmental conditions, an AR-15 will grow barbed handguards, potato grips, clipped magazines, Jeep-branded handguards, tube stocks, rectangular scopes, angled foregrips, and full-circle banana mags if raised anywhere in the Southern United States. Case in point: The North Carolina LVOA War Sport Carbine Bubba Gump Bullet Shrimp Supreme. That's the kind of fake plastic beauty that is distinctly, naye, exclusively American and makes you want to shed tears in the shape of a Bald Eagle that screeches Reveille off into the sky with fireworks for a finisher. Now get out there and show those frogs who really runs the indication around here, the indication of die-hard liberty and red-white-and-blue blooded democracy, not that cold-blooded communist nonsense. I'm Canadian. This replaces the burst-firing SCAR rifle on Cele's imported Insurgency animations. DISCLAIMER: Shaders must be set to HIGH or above in your video settings, or the Howler will be ACTUALLY invisible If your computer can't handle shadows, I made a special alt version just for you and your toaster PC. --------------------------------------------- Replacing the worst special infected in the game with a slow moving, borderline immortal ghost. This enemy is designed to work with the Nightmare Modpack by yoru. The rules of the Howler is as follows: - The Howler is a boss enemy - Not only is it less likely to spawn than other infected, but only one can spawn throughout a level (if it ever does spawn, as a Howler spawn is never guaranteed) - The Howler is nearly invisible - The only way to see this enemy is by the shadow it casts from your flashlight. - The Howler is nearly indestructible - It can't be affected by bullets or shoves, melee weapons or explosions. It is invulnerable to almost any means of damage. - The Howler moves VERY slowly - It moves at a much slower speed than the survivors, making it very easy to outrun. - The Howler hits HARD - Not only does the Howler rapidly drain health if it gets close to a survivor, but there are especially cataclysmic consequences if it touches a survivor: On Easy and Normal, it will incapacitate them on contact. On Advanced and Expert, it's an instant death. Survival Tactics: - Keep an ear out - The Howler makes very distinct noises when it's roaming around, and this will be your lifeline for when you can't see it. - Keep your flashlight on it - The Howler is slowed down by your team's flashlights, so having one person to keep direct line of sight with The Howler can be useful to strategizing a way to move around it. This is not a permanent solution, as the Howler's shadow weakens all light that reaches it. - Light it on fire - The sole exception to its absolute invulnerability is fire. If the Howler is lit on fire, it will be slowed to a crawl and become unable to hurt you for a long while. Be mindful however that this merely buys you time, as the Howler will eventually snuff out the flames and give chase once more. - Keep moving - The real danger of the Howler is it's relentlessness. The Howler will almost always spawn behind the survivor team, and all else being equal, it's very easily outran. Once spawned however, it will never stop hunting you once it's spawned. Spend too long in one spot - or get pushed back by the horde - and the Howler will once again pose a deadly threat to the survivors. Howlers will also never spawn during finales (with one exception). That would suck too much ass. Uses Slot 27 for xdR.
