So continuing with KF, i bring you people the Shotgun... yeah shotgun, no combat shotgun, no tactical shotgun or pump shotgun, just...Shotgun, but well it will replace the Chrome Shotgun as it comes with custom sounds as well but not the reload sound ones only the shooting one because the Chrome is using the pump shotgun sound thanks to valve, but well the reason of why i put this for the Chrome is because i wanted to put the Trench Gun for the Pump one, i hope you guys like it. Before "The Last Stand", the gatling, aka minigun mount was not broken. But then they went ahead and added a few attachments and broke the mount alignment This mod fixes that. While i was at it, i also added sharp edges to the bolt heads that were mistakenly made smooth. I also made the grips, wires and hoops smoother by adding more polygons and physically smoothing the mesh. The textures have not been touched. Texture modifications are still compatible. ______ This item is not authorized for posting on Steam, except under the Steam account named мяFunreal; Steam id "funreal" Modifications or Redistribution of this addon without explicit permission is prohibited. Another raifuru from the rising sun anime land of Nihon. Based off my previous Type 89 port, this one's modified with a Type 89 exclusive Picatinny rail, fitted with an Aimpoint CompM2 and comes with it's standard bipod. This type of configuration is used by Japanese Self-Defence Force (JSDF) troops deployed to high risk environments. Howa Type 89 5.56mm Assault Rifle ported from MMD, which is apparently from this Fallout Nexusmods. Standard issue service rifle of the JSDF, the Howa Type 89 replaced the outdated Howa Type 64 battle rifle and was introduced into service in 1989, used exclusively only by the Japanese armed forces. The Type 89 is heavily based off the ArmaLite AR-18 design and features 4 different trigger groups: Safe, Semi, 3rnd Burst, Auto. Although unique style STANAG Magazines are issued with the Type 89 most distinctive by the bullet indicating peekholes on the left side, standard NATO issued STANAG Magazines used for the M16s can also be accepted, with the cost of the inability of the bolt locking back on an empty chamber. - Replaces the SCAR-L Desert Rifle Features: - SureFire flashlight - Aimpoint CompM2 - Insurgency AR firing and handling sounds - arby26's animations (slightly modified origin) *Note(s): - Since the original Type 89 model by Michau2 utilises the standard NATO STANAG magazine, I've decided to use the magazine model from Soldier Front 2's Type 89 to more correctly reflect on the rifle's bolt catch feature. - I won't be changing the firing selector from "Full-Auto" to "3 round Burst", due to how the textures of the rifle was made. Your compliments, yes you! are what makes me inspired to make more mod like this. Just so you know, there's absolutely no pressure to do so; it's completely optional! High-res textures are usually fine. What really helps to avoid crashes is dividing the high-poly model (mostly the w_models, but the v_models are better to be optimised, too) into several SMDs instead of just one. I did that to all the models I am using, but kept the original 2K textures, and I am playing custom campaigns without issues. A good example: an HQ G3 that previously was making my game crash when someone with that weapon gets killed by the Witch or pounced by the Hunter. After the model got divided into several parts, no more crashes. The only problem with that is not all weapon mods are that easy to optimise: broken animations/meshes after re-compiling are not a rare occasion. Low-end PC owners probably still can crash while playing with weapon mods with high-res textures. A friend of mine was playing on a potato PC, and they had to remove all the high-res mods because the game was quite unstable. Sometimes. But in general, reducing the texture resolution does not necessarily help against crashes if the model has a hell ton of vertices and is not divided into several parts.
