This ensures that powerful weapons cannot be obtained too easily and fit better into the game's progression stage. Conversely, some tedious or overly expensive Calamity recipes have been simplified. For instance, the recipe for the improved Rod of Discord (an item that can be used via a dedicated hotkey) has been adjusted. These recipe tweaks are already built into the Chill Calamity Pack. No extra configuration is required. Goal of the Pack The main idea is to make the playthrough rich and diverse, but without excessive grinding or unnecessary tediousness.
