What does this mod do? This mod replaces the vanilla starting copper pickaxe and axe with stone alternatives from the Terraria Overhaul mod. Calamity's starting pouch is also removed. Starting items - Copper Shortsword - Stone Pickaxe (Terraria Overhaul) - Stone Axe (Terraria Overhaul) Why did I do that? I've always wondered why Terraria Overhaul adds stone tools if they never actually get used. Now they do — every new character spawns with them instead of the copper ones. I was so excited about this idea that I even took the time to learn basic Terraria modding just for this purpose. For now, it reworks just one weapon: SHPC. Calamity's SHPC rework already looked great, but if it was rebuilt so well, why not bring it back as a legendary weapon? So I made a few adjustments, gave it its own progression framework, and turned it into a legendary weapon again. Current State Things were going well, but then came the news that Calamity would soon stop receiving updates. There was no other choice but to release this first. The balance changes may still need a few rounds of tuning. Development and Feedback I only recently started learning C#, so there may be areas where I am still inexperienced. The mod is fully open source. If you run into any issues, feel free to leave a comment or get in touch. I was also lucky to receive coding help from experienced creators during development.
