When you build a mod in the Mod Sources menu, it runs "dotnet build -c:Release" on your mod's .csproj instead of going through tModLoader's internal Roslyn-based compiler. It's useful if you want to build mods in-game using the full power of the .NET SDK features tModLoader's internal compiler doesn't support. Normally tModLoader ignores everything you put in your .csproj and builds with its own hardcoded settings, but with this mod, whatever you configure actually gets respected. The Cosmic Foundry is a relic of impossible craftsmanship, a forge that bends metal, magic, and fate itself. When raised toward the sky, it summons a massive cosmic anvil that crashes down from above, shaking the earth on impact. This anvil becomes your personal reforging station—portable, immovable, and powered by something far older than Terraria’s usual metals. Place an item onto the anvil and strike the hammer icon to reshape its prefix. Every reforging attempt costs a flat 10 gold, no matter the item’s tier or rarity. Weapons, tools, and accessories can all be reforged, and the system respects each item’s valid prefix pool. If the item already carries its best possible prefix, the anvil refuses to waste your gold. The anvil remains in the world until you walk too far from it, at which point it returns your item and vanishes. Its presence is unmistakable: a heavy cosmic artifact embedded in the ground, humming with quiet power.
