Quick Desc: A Multi Biome set of islands in the ???????? ocean with thick lush forests, pristine beaches and rocky, mountainous terrain. Extensive military presance. Tourist attractions include: mountain climbing from the Coslands, pristine beaches and cruises on the Tanica Islands and forest hikes from Sinev Please, play this map and leave a helpful peice of feedback Long Desc: The Desolate Archipelago is my first complete map upload to the workshop. It is a large, fully furnished unique survival map that i spent a whole lot of time making. It features the afore mentioned large map size with fully furnished towns, cities, airports, milibases and so much more. Its unique super dense forest on the Coslands and Sinev sharply contrast with the sparse yet lush palm trees of the Tanica Islands. Its uniquely large sewer system, which spans all across the Coslands adds a unique way to travel through the map stealthly. All of this map was made with gameplay in mind, nooks and crannies to hide loot, secluded base locations, more than one great sniper spot per location to give players a chance to contest and hold an area even if somebody took and started camping a tower, office or other. These vantage points were placed to prevent a single sniper from overlooking entire cities and airfields. The thick forest encourages flanking as opposed to camping and third personing trees. Similarly the Tanica Islands sparse trees are too thin to pratically hide and camp behind, further discouraging camping. The thick forests as well as the sparse palm trees discorages KOS, as thick trees means that there could be a team mate around every corner and the Sparse palm trees are unforgiving, as missing your shot(s) provides you with no cover at all. The dark sewer system adds to this by serving as an additional flanking route, and its design of almost being seperated into many different paths by the large pipes as well as alternate and hidden routes to take prevent it from becoming a choke point. It also includes some very small deadzones, as well as far larger deadzones designed to give fully geared players a challanging experience, whilst previding large quantities of all sorts of loots. Its incorparation of most of the npc's makes finishing most quests doable, and this map also weaves into the storyline of other maps in a unique fashion that allows newer players to relate. The shorter distances between most locations stops the huge boring walks to and from locations, with a few far out locations that provide great loot or a great base location. I am sorry that this map took so long to fully release, but it is finally here, sorry for all those people who spent time waiting for this to come out. But that is in the past, this map took a rediculas amount of time to make, any support is greatly appriciated, no matter how small it is. This includes likes, skin donations and stuff like that. You dont have to feel obliged to, but it is super nice and greatly appreciated. However the easiest way you can help me is to play the map and leave a comment of helpful feedback. Thankyou
