A medium sized submarine based on the design of the Swedish Sjöormen-class. Comes equipped with a coilgun at the stern of the sub, a coil-railgun combo at the keel, a rear depth charge tube plus searchlight and a electrical discharge coil at the bow of the sub. Most of the systems run on automatic control, but it's possible to manually control the batteries via a manual override. Parts of the sub are restricted to proper clearance. The Tier 3 entry of my Abyss Hunter series of Submarine, a thematic and progressive class of submarines. This series is aimed towards those of us who play with smaller teams. Please also check out AH I - Rend, and AH II - Maul. I perform a lot of testing to ensure all systems work effectively and attempt to provide a balanced approach. That said, I am no expert at this game and may not get everything right. Please feel welcome to leave some feedback, thanks! Appreciation to the Decotrauma packs for interior designs. This submarine has a variety of features covering both weaponry, artillery, and quality of life. Rooms include onboard fabrication, cargo space, medbay, internal security monitoring, prison cell with interrogation features, and a custom built safe-room in the centre of the submarine. I have tried my best to clearly label where to click to take control of submarine features, while maintaining a realistic and grounded approach to the visuals. If you're stuck, hold ALT down to view components as you walk through the submarine. Quality of life features include a hazard monitor (found in the terminal room). This monitor will display nearby threats positioned around the submarine, including top and bottom left and right indicators to assist your team with communicating ongoing threats. Additionally, an alarm system will sound when water or smoke is detected. All doors are motion sensor, however you may lock doors from opening. The compact shuttle is great for exhibitions where you are required to travel into tight-fit areas, make sure to open the hatch prior to exiting. Still too large? Take control of the recon drone with onboard mining laser. A plethora of weaponry is included, ensuring your dominance in the abyss. Included with this is an Electromagnetic Railgun, after a short charge time, whatever is bothering you will be no more! Caution with use, as this weapon will drain a high volume of power from the submarine with use. While I do not know them personally or on any level, a huge thank you to content creator InitialDesu for providing a lot of inspiration and guidance in submarine building through their videos, and for showcasing a lot of creative sub builders who I've drawn inspiration from.

Saber Armaments Revived EHA Patch

Another patch from yours truly. This is aimed at reigning in the performance of the SA weapons and aligning them with EHA weaponry, so that either is a viable choice in a campaign. As a global darkness enjoyer I also made it so mid to late variants of the weapons (anything taking special ammo) can now toggle on a weapon light. Doesn't require a flashlight or batteries so it's kind of unbalanced but I am doing what I can. Note that this patch is clunky. I am an ape and can't do more than tweak numbers. I'll look into a few more things like: adjusting recipes (added magnesium as a requirement for making ammo). Saber Armaments Revived is required to run this, and is loaded under this in mod load order. NOTE: Read the above line about me being an ape, if something is inherently broken with Saber Armaments I will not be the guy to fix it. At best, I'll see about implementing changes if someone takes over the core project.

What this mod does: - Lowers the structurefixamount (welding speed) from 2 -> 1.1 - Raises the mechanics skill requirement of the welding tool from 50 -> 60 Why: By default, repairing walls with a welding tool is incredibly quick, allowing a single person to repair an entire room in just a few seconds. This quick repair time can feel unrealistic and diminish the challenge of managing hull integrity. If that doesn’t sit right with you, this mod is for you. By reducing the structurefixamount to 1.1 (1.1 felt better than 1.0 in practice), repairs now take roughly twice as long as they normally would. While this sounds like a huge nerf, in practice it feels very natural. I have also raised the skill requirement for the welding tool from 50 to 60, making it slightly more important to have mechanics and engineers on hull repairs as opposed to just any random crew member.

Unlike it's competitors, the Selkie and Hemulen, the Rockcod features an experimental reactor, which albeit efficient, is volatile and needs active water cooling. The submarine also has an electrical discharge coil that provides some additional protection while operating in shipping routes. This makes the model popular in outposts seeking to transport goods across large distances, but it is often overshadowed in cost by other shuttles, or in comfort by larger vessels. The Rockcod was designed as a hybrid between a shuttle, and an actual submarine. While it still has the shell of a shuttle, and is relatively small, it has some of the features of a larger vessel. It has an efficient reactor, and a discharge coil, which provides on-board power generation, and (A somewhat limited) defense respectively. It's reactor is of note, as it needs water cooling to sustain it's high efficiency, which means that if the water to the system is cut off the reactor will also turn off as a failsafe. Armament: 1 Discharge Coil Power: 1 Reactor Mobility: 1 Shuttle Engine 1 Shuttle Nav Terminal 1 Pump Additional Info: Difficult, best manned with an experienced crew, or used as a shuttle. Has a wall weakpoint that can be disabled with a valve. The reactor is shutdown automatically when the valve is closed. The name comes from the real-life fish Bald Rockcod (Also referred to as the Bald Notothen), native to the Southern Ocean.

One of the latest inventions of European engineers. This landing craft has three small combat shuttles, and large gun nests on top for cover. The Dropship stays afloat well, even when leaking. And it also has ski chassis to soften collisions with the bottom of Europe. At the moment, the ship is too new to draw any conclusions. But so far there have been no complaints.
