This is clearly an after-market modification, and not a very good one. It has very low survivability and is practically a form of execution. It's cheap tho! (REMEMBER TO WEAR AN OXYGEN MASK WITH IT) Disguised Cabinets As I'm not a big fan of simply slapping some vanilla cabinets on the ship and calling it a day i took the liberty to disguise some of them and blend them into the enviorment a bit. They might be a bit hard to notice and first but i belive you can figure it out. (there is also a hidden sonar monitor between the ssl launcher periscopes) Backup Engine A Musser Co. deisel engine has been installed beneath the bridge to serve as either that extra boost in case things don't go as planned, that extra boost in case the things go as planned or simply a backup if the Quintision Class fission reactor in the back of the ship runs out of fuel or gets extinguished during the sanctioned protocol. I don't want to spoil the fun of exploration of this thing so i won't go on, just trust me on this one, it's worth it.

*** Requires PDS mod *** This is a small, cheap and expendable destroyer to be used as a front line combatant. Its main roles are patrolling sea lanes and dealing with monster outbreaks. First to fight and first to die, crew are encouraged to wear a swim suit at all times since its low cost aproach leaves few safety measures. On the bright side the submarine is armed with expensive DPS equipment,stealth assistance and a powerful engine for limited speed boosts. CONTROL Theres 3 warning signs on top of the nav terminal wich indicate important status of the sub: -SILENT-- --when lit it indicates the sub is in stealth status, with a sound bubble that barely goes beyond the ships hull. A blind monster would not hear the sub up to the point its almost rammed. Theres a display showing the current reactor output. If numbers are in green the reactor is making little noise allowing stealth navigation, when numbers are in red it indicates stealth navigation is not guaranteed. -BOOST-- -- This indicates that theres enough battery charge to fully use the engine power, allowing for a limited speed and acceleration boost. -STALL-- -- When lit (in red color) it indicates theres not enough battery charge to operate the engine, and due to power degradation the engine has entered in a power deficit loop, unable to come out of it. The engine will stop pushing the sub no matter what. To stop the stalling, reduce engine speed to zero or almost zero until the stall sign goes away. Dont push it too hard until batteries have recharged a little, or the Boost sign lits up. On the nav terminal theres the engine limiter toggle. Screen touch the ON word to activate/deactivate. When limiter is ON (green lit) only 25% of the engine power is used allowing slow acceleration and around 14kmh top speed. When is OFF (red lit) it will use full power giving very quick acceleration and top speed around 28kmh. Theres a "gen flood" lever that will close reactor room doors and food the room, to end any fires or prank someone. Theres also a "door lock" lever that will force open any locked door to prevent rebellious behaviour. ENGINE The engine is directly feeded from a 4 battery bank customized for this purpose. A capacitor is used to set the recharge rate of the batteries. A high recharge rate will force the reactor to make too much noise, ruining the stealth. Theres a lever to leave the recharge rate on automatic mode, but it will not try to keep the sub in stealth status. FLOODING To manage flooding, hatches will force open to redirect water towards ballasts, but this will let the sub quickly flood and sink like a brick if flooding is severe enough. Crew members are reminded to wear a swim suit at all times or have one available nearby. WEAPONs & EQUIPMENT -COIL CANNON-- -- Its operated directly through a doppler at all times, allowing great aiming range. It will take care of any threats except big abyss creatures. -PHALANX-- -- 2 phalanx turrets are the main armament of the sub, each has installed a doppler base system. Its recomended to purchase dopplers for it as soon as possible. Although thermal dopplers can be installed this low budget sub cant provide adequate power for it. leaving very short operating times. -MINIGUN-- -- Theres 2 minigun guns, one to guard the divers airlock at the back and another to cover the blind spot at the coilcannon place, as well as give some support to divers facing a wreck. This are guns intended to be used in drones, dont expect to kill anything above a crawler easily.
