It's a tough little ship Description: The Prawn 1 is a tiny tier 1 sub built for crews of 1 to 3 at maximum. Originally salvaged from a supply shuttle, the Prawn 1 has underwent numerous upgrades to best match the Europa Coalition's safety requirements for long distance voyages. Due to its size being between a scout class and shuttle class submarine, the Europa Coalition designated the Prawn 1 as a Scavenger Class, a light transport to scout new terrain and transport cargo without detection. Since its retrofit, the Prawn 1 has been a vital asset in the Europa Coalition's fleet for smuggling goods through pirate territory, posing as no more than a large hammerhead on most radars. The Apache Attack Helicopter, a staple of old earth wars. Now on Europa, it symbolizes speed and power. To any captains and or crew, this sub is meant for fun but also as a challenge. =========================================================================== WARNING, THE SUB WORKS AGAIN BUT SOME THINGS ARE BROKEN. Last update October 12, 2022 =========================================================================== What has borked from what I can tell: - EK Gunnery loaders do not have a texture for me anymore and the axes throw out an error - Some of the oxygear items yell in the console about it's lighting texture dimensions not being able to scale - The omnidirectional engines just don't work at all and one of them was unwired for whatever reason, not updating sub until the other mod issues get fixed or I get a solution Follow all the steps in the Common Troubleshooting section of the lua for barotrauma, it fixed the omnidirectional engines for me. For anyone who wanted to use this and meme around, I'm sorry, stuff broke that I have no control over/don't know how to fix but it is functional right now What to expect: - This is both a meme and somewhat serious sub, hence the low price tag as I intend for it to be a challenge sub to see if you can make it to the end of the game with it. - Although it uses modded omnidirectional engines that can still operate fully flooded as if nothing changed, I have made it to where it will lose power at certain stages of flooding to make sure you feel the fear of sinking. - Adding onto your fear of sinking, this sub only has bottom facing guns as I tried to mimic the armaments of a real one, except for allowing the turrets to aim a full 180 degrees on the bottom. - It has a couple of alarms, the most common you will hear being a low fuel alarm. This one will go off when the fuel left in the generator is below 5%. You also have a visual fuel gauge by the EVA terminal which you use to control the sub. - While it most likely will never happen, the other alarms are for when the generator is about to explode/melting down and the rest are for multiple stages of alarms tied to crush depth. - It also features a crush depth calculation and display for captains to remind them of when they're about to reach crush depth if the alarms do not suffice. The first warning alarms for crush depth goes from 510m-130m away from crush depth and the second goes from 130m-0m from crush depth. I've never actually tested if the sub can survive going into crush depth but there are alarms for 0m-250m below crush depth, 250m-750m, and 750+m with the engine power falling to half below 250m. I know these systems work and I have tested them in the sub editor but the sub editor doesn't actually have crush depth even though you go past it. - These alarms are tied to the crush depth calculation so make sure to update it whenever you buy hull upgrades. It is also made in hopes that when the update comes out, the crush depth formula doesn't change. - EK Mk II Hardsuits and pulse laser rifles, along with arc welders and ion cutters for the crew. While this may seem overpowered, it is meant to be this way. - It can dock to stations though you need to swim into the station with a suit. This sub is kinda meant to try to survive through a campaign with barotraumatic and all of it's creature mods and with how close I'm releasing this to the update, the class of the sub is an attack sub and not a deep diver so you will have to wait till the update to be able to make it to the end of the campaign. Trust me, while you may feel powerful and that this is overpowered, reaching the Aphotic Plateau with all of barotraumatic's fun creatures may cause you to reconsider~ MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO INSTALL LUA FOR BAROTRAUMA Future plans: - A wrecked variation of the sub, either included with this if I figure that out or as a separate workshop item. - Maybe a pvp version with a left and right facing version of the sub. - Some other things I'm probably forgetting. Do remember dear captain, while you may be fast, you only have bottom facing guns!~

Its Long. its hard. Its the Dulong. I think there are like, 15 guns on it. I dunno. I messed up connection loaders to the turrets and at this point Im not fixing it. Have fun. In the likely event of it crashing/breaking/crew getting fed up, a complemetry shuttle has been attached. If fleeing the ship is nessecary, the shuttle is also known as th Dugong, and can be piloted anywere if need be.

This is a demo system for a battery based UPS system for a submarines power supply. It should in theory mimize blackouts for submarines while the reactor spins up during combat or non combat operations while minimizing overloads ========= I am well aware of the fact that it could use some work and optimisation (especially screwing around with the values of the relays), It does not help that im rather new to doing more complex wiring and retrofitting of subs power grids.
