de_terminal is a 5v5 bomb defusal map set in an airport terminal located in the heart of Germany. The map is set at night, with the terminal still under construction, adding a unique and dynamic environment for intense gameplay. Location The gameplay of the map primarily takes place in two key areas of the airport's "Terminal 3": — Bombsite A is situated near the airfield, where passengers will eventually board and disembark from planes. This area offers a mix of open spaces and tight corners, perfect for strategic plays and ambushes. — Bombsite B is located in the main hall, a stunning glass construction that serves as the arrival zone. The hall's expansive layout and multiple entry points make it a challenging and exciting battleground. Interesting Facts about Terminal 3 Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport is one of Europe's largest privately funded infrastructure projects. Once completed, it will have the capacity to handle up to 25 million passengers annually. The terminal is being built in phases, with the first phase expected to be operational by 2026. The terminal will feature a new Sky Line people mover, which will transport passengers between Terminal 3 and the north of the airport in just eight minutes, reaching speeds of up to 80 km/h. Additionally, a new eight-level parking facility will provide space for 8,500 passenger cars, including charging stations for electric vehicles.
