It was originally created in 2021 by pracc and boreurs as a GunGame map for Counter-Strike: Source. Magic8Ball saw the map recently posted on the Steam Workshop in 2022 and thought it would make a great AWP map for his popular gloveworks AWP servers. He thought the map name could be a bit more memorable for his community so he renamed the map to awp_doodlebop. The map, now named awp_doodlebop was a smash hit inside the gloveworks AWP servers. It quickly became one of the most popular maps in the server. Players loved the fast paced style with fun elements of flyting across the map using the ramps on the top platform. When CS2 was released, Magic8Ball ported the map from CS:GO to CS2 using the new Source 2 engine. 6 month passed and I decided to take it upon myself to remaster the map. I used my specialized skillsets to upscale the textures and refinished them using PBR techniques to bring the paper textures to the mapping standards of 2024. The map is now looking better than ever and continues to be a beloved map of the AWPing community! "CS2 TRAIN ONE POSITION SMOKES TO SITES" means that for both sites (A and B) there is a possibility to throw 3-3 smokes to the site from one position for attacking purposes. You need to buy one smoke and you need two teammates to drop you 1-1 smoke, to the exact position where you are standing, and with the help of this guide you can learn and practice how to throw those and then you can implement these to your matches. Mainly this is for beginners or who don't know the map and wants to know a little bit better how to attack both sites easily, these smokes can help you a lot to make a perfect attack!
