Original collection/mods This is a simple edit of Querentin's HQ model pack. I really enjoy these models but I always thought the shading could have been prettier. So I tried my hand at it and this is the result. Some main/noticeable changes compared to the originals: - Exponents have been redone; they're less diffused and are allowing for nicer reflections - Fresnelranges have been readjusted - Envmapping has been reduced for most guns except for the Chrome Shotgun & Deagle - Chrome Shotgun has it's signature chrome-ish look back, something which lacked in the original mod. Time to take the fight against the infected to the rural outlands of Louisiana! This project was considered lost media for well over a year, but after thorough research I have managed to locate one of the last few remaining copies that was still in circulation, courtesy of Evil Banana and Shael! Following this, I have received permission from the original creator to publish the maps under my name for archival purposes. This project is a tech demo to see just how far the Source engine can be pushed in terms of accurate recreation of more modern games. As such, it is not designed like a usual Left 4 Dead campaign - The intention was to accurately recreate Resident Evil 7's level design in Source. The campaign map features a visually faithful recreation of Resident Evil 7's outside areas, including a rather ominous view of the infamous Baker Manor and a fully accessible Guesthouse. The survival maps feature a more traditional Left 4 Dead experience - hold out against the hordes of infected on the porch of the manor, or fight for survival as long as you can in the iconic Guesthouse! This .vpk contains all the original .vmf files, therefore modification and re-use is allowed. If you'd like to use, expand on, modify, or copy any of the content showcased in this add-on, feel free to do so as long as credit is given. Disclaimers: - As this is intended to be a tech demo, the campaign itself is very limited. It is not intended to be played like the usual Left 4 Dead campaigns, the emphasis of this project is on the visuals and recreational design. - This add-on will require a rather strong PC to run well.
