So, I made the veteran look younger, and also gave him bright blue eyes instead of his regular blue eyes. Early 2008 Color Corrections

So apparently Valve left quite a few unused color correction files within the first Left 4 Dead's files. Some of them made no sense, but the majority of them were early versions of the campaigns color corrections! This mod replaces the default color corrections in the L4D1 campaigns with the earliest of the color corrections that resemble footage from early 2008 builds of Left 4 Dead... I think (there wasn't footage for all the maps, and some of these CCs I have no idea when were made so some assumptions were made with these). Whether you like the way these look or not, this is what they used at one point. Keep in mind these corrections weren't exactly made for the lighting on the retail maps.

PD2 M60 (for M60)

USORD M60 from Payday 2 The classic American "Pig", based on a mix of the German MG42 and FG42. Bulky and awkward, with reliability issues, it arguably deserved its nickname. It is mostly replaced by the M240 and other more reliable machine guns. Replaces the M60 (model and reloading sounds) Oh, wow, Overkill made another paid DLC with three guns, why do they even do that, hurr durr. The answer is, of course, so that Alex can buy it, download a new hashlist, re-export the entire game's assets all over again, and start working on a weapon skin mod for another dying game. The trigger group seems to be a bit oversized, but whatever. It being a Payday 2 model, there was no bipod (or rather, there was an unfinished untextured low-poly model in the files), so I added one from the default L4D2 model. The animation set is from CoD4 again, with some clipping issues regarding the box and belt during the reload, but otherwise it looks alright, and you're not supposed to reload this gun anyway. So yeah, here's a classic M60 (not an M60E3) on those CoD anims. Great timing on that DLC, too, as we just recently discussed old M60 models with someone out there who won't let this game die. Let's just all play Fortnite, why play games that are more than 10 years old? Shame on you, Boomers.
