Reforged! aims to improve the process of reforging gear using a unique minigame and minor quality of life changes. Reforging now takes longer but rewards the player based on their performance. Consecutive reforges will rarely result in repeat prefixes and no longer charge the player, until they fail. After using a new permanent upgrade sold by the Goblin Tinkerer, some items can be 'forged' rather than crafted to give more favourable initial prefixes. The cost of reforging is configurable. This mod may be incompatible with other mods that modify reforge behaviour. Feel free to report incompatibilities on the Workshop page. Normally, when your Critical Hit chance goes over 100%, that excess does absolutely nothing. It just... sits there, uselessly waiting for you to go reforge something from Lucky to Menacing. Not anymore- with this mod, you can OVERCRIT for another bonus to damage if your Crit rate is over 100! And if, somehow, you got your crit rate up ANOTHER 100%, it keeps checking for extra crits beyond that! The default "Additive Damage" mode adds 0.5x to your multiplier, making the first Overcrit deal 3x damage, then 4x, 5x, and so on. (This is probably a far more balanced option.) Turning this off in the Config gives you the classic "Multiplicative Damage" mode that makes the overcrit 4x, 8x, and so on. This won't work in PvP. (However, if you've got a crit rate over 100, you probably already obliterated your opponent anyway.) Q: Can Summon weapons get this? A: Yes! If you're crazy enough to build Summon crit chance, you deserve something to show for it. Q: What about Calamity's Soma Prime? It already does this! A: Soma Prime's check is separate- it will roll for both an Overcrit from this mod and its own super-crit. Yes, that is a lot of damage.
