Survive in the most difficult climate. 9/27/2016 - Future of Alaska Maps Hey guys! HB here. Just wanted to explain some things about my Alaska map. First, I would like to get started by thanking everyone for trying out my map and leaving me feedback thus far. I made this map not only to test my abilities, but rather due to my not being impressed with Yukon. I can very much see Nelson's vision with his maps in Unturned, but I feel he has a difficult time making some of those dreams reality, either due to lack of time or community demands. Alaska will be part of a series of maps to bring to the table a re-work in a sense of his maps. Alaska is to Yukon, and there will be maps akin to PEI and Washington. All maps will be large scale and have very regional specific themes, as well as lore and backstory that will be uncovered as the maps are played. Primarily my maps are designed with multiplayer in mind, but I'm hoping to make them at least not too boring to play in single player. As for Alaska, there will be a revision later this week, addind some needed details and fixing some bugs. I will also be releasing a "sunny" varient for those who prefer more survivable maps, as well as a summer time editions for people who just hate the snow. Again thank you for playing on my maps. Nearly, if not every map in Unturned today is in the Modern Era, this one takes you back. The idea behind this map is survival it it's roots. There are no modern-age assets in this map (Guns, cars, large buildings, etc), as it takes place 15,000 years before the founding of PEI. You awake in your camp to the sounds of vicious growls, you grab what is at your immediate disposal and set out to survive in what is, Unturned Primal (Title is HEAVILY inspired by Farcry Primal) Version 0.1 Release! This mod contains 700+ lights that can be used in the map editor. these lights can be used to give custom light to caves, rooms, ... etc note: all light are of type "bake" not "real time", so supposedly they are performance friendly. content details: there are two types of lights: spot light, point light there are 9 colors: blue, cyan, green, orange, purple, red, warm white, white, yellow there are different range and intensity lights and with shadow (soft or sharp) or no shadow I refer to range with "r" I refer to intensity with "i" r8i3 means the light range is 8 and the intensity is 3 so, how to use? in the editor->objects filter to "small" and search something like: "light point red" "light spot white" "light point red r4" after you finish putting the light at the desired location, you can down scale the light body (box) (this box is semi transparent, and has collision disabled.) if you would like to edit this mod, or make your own version, then here is the unity files https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/750845897650208830/1052215844333174824/Lights_Unity_Files.zip ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- P.S.
