Eastern Astlora: The Shallowdream Region The Shallowdream Region in eastern Astlora is a strategically vital maritime territory surrounded on all sides by the sea. Its scattered islands, headlands, and sheltered bays have made it a natural crossroads for shipping routes since ancient times. Abundant fisheries, deep mineral deposits, and fragile coastal ecosystems laid the foundations of early prosperity, while several natural deep-water harbors—embedded along the shoreline like maritime gateways—came to control trade between the interior and the open ocean. The first fishing villages were built among reefs and tidal flats, their narrow wooden piers stretching into drifting sea fog. Later, waves of industrialization swept across the coast: smelters, shipyards, and fuel terminals rose in quick succession, leaving behind the steel relics that still dominate parts of the harbor today. Now, weathered smokestacks and warehouses stand beside fully automated container ports and glass-clad harbor administration towers, forming Shallowdream’s unmistakable skyline—half rooted in the past, half pointing toward the future. In recent years, the government has designated Shallowdream as a primary offshore development hub, accelerating investment in high-technology industries, renewable energy, and the marine economy. Offshore wind farms stretch along tidal corridors, their navigation beacons glowing like constellations at night; tidal-power barriers span bay entrances, reshaping currents and fishing grounds; deep-sea research platforms and autonomous freight vessels operate around the clock, carrying samples, minerals, and data back to inland laboratories. Public funding and private capital have poured into the region, driving coastal land values sharply upward as new urban districts and research parks expand along reclaimed shorelines. Beneath the glass domes of conference centers, planners sketch decades of future growth. Yet behind these ambitious visions lie mounting tensions: disputed fishing zones, sealed mining sites, appropriated tidal flats, and villages awaiting relocation have all become quiet reservoirs of unease. For these reasons, Shallowdream is widely regarded as both Astlora’s most promising and most volatile coastal frontier. Amid rapid transformation and intensifying resource competition, government strategies, corporate interests, traditional communities, and underground networks restrain and challenge one another in equal measure. A new metropolis—still unfinished—continues to take shape along the boundary between formal order and shadowed gray zones. Discover the Dead Zone, and try to survive in a zone where strange experimentations took place. There's many locations to discover including hidden underground labs, where dangerous zombies roam. There's different "types" of zombies with different caracteristics (for exemple, firefighters zombies have low health but deal heavy dammages, miners are very resistant, etc...). The map is vanilla. The map is a large one but only half of it is done (litteraly) but it is fully playable (PVE and PVP) with all the spawns and the loots placed. I will add more locations in the future (the more you'll go North, the harder it will get). For now there is 19 marked locations, including -several underground labs -2 military bases -a big (but empty) city -factories -a power plant -a big dead zone with interesting loots -docks -a radar station -a forest -small locations (a village, a mechanic, checkpoints...) and more for you to discover... Since there's locations without zombie or loot, these can be used as bases. Feel free to leave a comment and crticize the map (and rate it)! Made by Hadry123
