Some believed it held evidence of government conspiracies, others whispered that it contained blueprints for long-forgotten weapons. Whatever the truth, one thing was certain: Schwarze Hand, a ruthless terrorist faction, wanted it gone. Their mission was not to steal the information, but to erase it forever. Someone, somewhere, had ordered them to silence whatever secrets the library held—by fire and destruction. Perhaps it was an act of revenge, perhaps it was to protect powerful individuals from exposure. Either way, their orders were clear: bring the building down.
