Alternate DL Link below. *Obligatory Seizure Warning: Don't play these maps if you have seizures triggered by flashing lights.* SEQUEL UPDATE If you look at the description below, you'll notice how my promise of a sequel has gone completely unanswered. This is because I found that I could not quite get what I wanted out of the source engine at the time. However, with the launch of Alyx, this has changed. I am looking into making map packs for VR using the Alyx engine. I don't know the specifics at the moment, but this is honestly a genuine possibility. Keep an eye out for future updates. Have you ever wanted to just shoot stuff without worrying about story? Here you go! In this map pack you'll shoot your way through hordes of enemies as you try to reach an end goal for no established reason other than the pure joy of killing stuff! Want to break out that extremely overpowered swep and have fun? Go ahead! You'll need it! Want to use average sweps to feel challenged? Perfect! However you want to play it, go ahead! Plow on through or take your time and challenge yourself! Thanks to the success, which I really did not see coming, there's a good chance I will make another series of maps akin to this one. However, this map pack took up a considerable amount of time, and I have yet to make any plans regarding the sequel. In addition, I work quite slowly as I have hobbies other than Source Mapping, so do not expect it any time soon. Bug Info -Helibombs Lagging Game- During one point in the third map, there is an issue with helibombs lagging the game to an abysmal framerate. Fortunately, a fix was found by Cringecity. Before the fight starts (when the third map loads), go into the console and type in "phys_timescale 0" in singleplayer, or "cl_phys_timescale 0" in multiplayer. Note that this will stop dynamic physics, but this does not break the fight. Cheats will have to be enabled. -Downloading Issues- There are a few issues related to downloading this addon. For starters, downloading the addon, not actually launching it, will sometimes cause Garrysmod to crash. The best way around this is to download it outside of Garrysmod and via Steam. Another way is to download via the link posted above. If the link breaks, please post a comment on either here or my profile so I can fix it. -Crash During Loading- As of now, it seems this occurs mostly due to the "Hidden" addon. This changes behavior of AI, and while I do not know the specifics, these maps are heavily noded and contain specific directions for AI to follow. It may be that the "Hidden" addon is too much of a strain on Garrysmod when interacting with the AI directions placed in my maps. Disabling this mod will often solve this issue. Otherwise, disabling and uninstalling related addons may fix the problem. Remember, this is Garrysmod we are dealing with, and we all know she can be a sultry and unpredictable wench. -Error Textures- Upon level transition, some people are getting an error texture that fills their screen. The map was made by Catfood (with the help of Hunsrus for the soundscapes) for the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive workshop, and subsequently chosen by Valve to be in the next operation, Operation Wildfire. This map port was made with Catfood's express permission, for which I thank him dearly. Since he worked hard making this map and a lot of the models and textures used in it, don't hesitate to visit his Steam Workshop to see the rest of his awesome work! In case you don't know the map, it's the center of Amsterdam, the capital city in the Netherlands. You'll be free to see some of its famous canals and old houses by nighttime, going around streets, bridges and alleyways. There's also a church you can go inside of! I've adapted the map to GMod, which means the following: - Fixed and added physical props all over the map - Removed restrictive "clip" brushes meant for competitive fair-play - Added access and added props to a few previously unaccessible areas, mostly gardens. - Made the canal water not kill you.
