QuickSelect - Weapon Selection Done Right

What makes something feel good. Not just work well, but feel good. Something that is a major element of Gmod is the legacied weapon selection from Half Life 2. While great at the time and great for HL2, it's not something that works for something as fast and highly modifiable as Gmod. So what makes this better? Unlike other addons of this type this allows for people (including you!) to make unique themes and share them on the workshop! As well as enough options to make it work well for the way you play. Do what you do, and do it well. What about the themes? As new themes are made I'll keep a list of official and some community made themes on a collection. The Left 4 Dead survivors, before the grime and grit of the zombie apocalypse. GET THE LEFT 4 DEAD 2 DAY ONE SURVIVORS HERE These do NOT replace the default models or textures, and you should not need any other games mounted to use this addon. By popular request, this is the Left 4 Dead 1 survivor models (Bill, Zoey, Louis, Francis) using the Day One reskins, originally released on the Left 4 Dead 2 workshop. The Day One reskins are cleaned of dirt, blood, and grime to an everyday wear look, along with some enhancements to their face textures. The models have been further enhanced for Garry's Mod usage including detail texture overlays, loose physics, bodygroups for removing or adding certain items, and alternate skins to revert them back to their original dirty textures. The original dirty textures have been edited to keep the enhancements done to their face textures. FEATURES: - Enhanced textures with bug fixes, detail overlays, and improved face texturing more in line with the L4D2 survivor models. - Full eye, finger, and face posing. - Clean and Dirty textures included, along with skingroups to manually enable their face wrinkles. Use the Easy Bodygroup Tool to select the skins or hold C, right click the model and use the "skin" options. - Bodygroups, including for readding holsters, removing Bill's hat, and giving Louis some fresh office clothes. - Ragdolls with loose physics for easier posing. - Tweaked hair shaders to address transparency issues when using Lamps on the models. NOTES/ISSUES: - No, these are not player models or SNPC's. I have no plans to make these player models or SNPC's. Yes, I know other people have made player models out of them. That's because they rerigged them to be compatible with Gmod's animations, while these keep the original bones that aren't. - The eye shaders may require a DirectX 9-capable video card to work properly. - Several elements of the models, like Zoey's hair, can be moved around using the Joint Tool or Advanced Bone Tool - Bill's cigarette can also be moved by a bone tool.
