[VJ Base] Combine Synth Soldier NPCs

Requires the VJ Base to run properly! An addon, powered by the VJ Base, that adds two Combine humanoid synthetic soldier NPCs. They are synthetic organisms likely, at one point, an entirely different species but weaponized by the Combine. They are not wholly canon but were likely a part of the invading ground forces during The Seven Hour War. Due to being partially mechanical they possess laser-like precision with a pulse rifle and lack any concept of fear or danger. Surrounding their internals are a hard exoskeleton or combat chassis (similiar to the armor of a strider or gunship but a weaker variant) that is resistant to any form of poison, radiation, acidic corrosion or sources of open flames. Their synthetic carapace makes them highly bullet-resistant, but not completely bullet-proof or shock proof as enough kinetic energy could easily disrupt their internal cognition. Stealth is also an unintended, yet useful, design of their mechanical anatomy. Their foot structure allows them to cross most types of terrain without making much noise. They are able to verbally command the transhuman based ground forces, but when only other synths are present they wirelessly communicate using bluetooth-like subroutines instead. This makes them enigmatic, order-driven killing machines. NOTE: This is a rather experimental addon I whipped up quickly just for fun. It doesn't work properly in many cases and I'm not going to continue developing it, sorry :( This addon replaces the physgun beam with multiple energy tendrils that grab onto objects from different angles. This is a purely visual effect and does not change the behavior of the physgun at all. This will work properly with reskins, but there's no guarantee with physgun model replacements. You can configure the number of beams with: physgun_tendril_count (default 3) For example if you want 5 beams you would put into the console: physgun_tendril_count 5 There are four textures to use which can be selected with: physgun_tendril_style (default 2)

Here is my microphone which I brought over from SFM to Gmod. Since it was designed for SFM there is no collision mesh as I am unsure if that is even needed for a prop like this. If I am wrong let me know and i'll go back and add a collision mesh and figure out how to update a model for the garry's mod workshop cause right now it's a huge pain the ass.

Venom also stars in its own movie Venom (2018). The Venom and Anti Venom SNPC can throw web shot towards the enemy, while capable of strong melee attacks should enemies get too close, in addition to leaping attacks to dish out heavy damage if the attacks made contact. I take absolutley no credit for this map, I'm simply reuploading it from my old HDD This is (or was) a rare map that used to be on garrysmod.org but vanished from the face of the earth. I managed to recover it off of my HDD and reuploading it here for all to see and enjoy. It requires no games at all and only uses HL2 Base files. The addon has working map icons (or map icons that should be working) and both Day and Night versions of the map. This is the only version I have (v4) I do not have any others nor are they needed. I hope you enjoy the map and have fun. Please let me know if there is any errors or if I was wrong about it not requiring content. Thank you I added several screenshots of both day and night versions of the map, so you can get an idea of what it looks like for those of you who are picky about maps. Note: I can't help you with the admin room, this map is from gmod 10 and the room probably doesn't work like it used to. However,everything else in the map is functional and fine, so I see no major concern aside from getting to the admin room and using the buttons. If I do find out how to get to the admin room, I will notify you ASAP. Forgot to mention, fully noded for AI. Also, if you need a map reuploaded to workshop, add me and let me know. This is a drivable Chevrolet Express 3500 from 18 Wheels of Steel: Extreme Trucker 2.
