Better not be any goddamn instant mud people, just add water. Hard Rain originally was mean to feature wet versions of the Common Infected & the Roadcrew during the 2nd half of the campaign (the return journey), and also was mean to feature the Mudman. The population data still exists to this day (defaultmilltown_rain, defaultmilltown_rain_mob, defaultsugarmill_rain, and defaultsugarmill_rain_mob), but it went unused in favor of re-using the populations of the first two chapters (defaultmilltown and defaultsugarmill). This mod adds back the wet versions of the Common Infected, the wet version of the Roadcrew, and the Mudmen to the campaign. Fun fact: The _rain variants of the CI features the early color scheme shown in pre-release footage and screenshots of Left 4 Dead 2, which was far more saturated and at times washed up, alongside different sets of heads that cannot be seen anywhere else in the game, such as the bald common infected.
