Alright, I have found out how I can finally port animations without the need of any help. So here is my first solo complete port project, the AK74U from the game contagion on its very own animations, thats right the model comes with its animations everything from the view model bobbing to the reloading animations. I feel you all that like the classic l4d1 viewmodel position would like this mod, i thought it was key that its origin was matching the original game and gave you sort of a "zombie panic" feeling to it. It also uses ZPS sounds because i fucked up the sound extraction but it still sounds good, so enjoy the first mod from the famous zps sequel contagion. Sopranos Survivors is a mod that was intended to rip the models from the PS2 game, The Sopranos: Road to Respect, and put them inside L4D2 as playable survivors. Unfortunately nobody has ever done this before, the result was a month straight of ripping models & textures from the effort of me and another friend who set me up with the raw rips to modify inside a 3d modelling program. Although most games are easy to rip, the Sopranos game is extremely tough and barely workable - conventional methods like exploring the game directory would not work. WARNING: Sopranos Survivors is NOT perfect, the development for this project was ceased after 3-4 months as I did not have the resources to fix the remaining issues. Because I do not want to spend more time on them, I am uploading them now. There are skeleton issues, some animation & height issues, but otherwise fully playable and look decent for a rip thats nobody has ever accomplished before. You are free to steal the models as you wish by downloading the VPK, if you have any more luck than I did with fixes/adjustments I'd be happy to see them one day. What ever happened to Nick and Coach? The strong survivor type? He wasn't in touch with his teammates he just did what he had to do.
