The most compact of the German G36 family, it's just as subjected to overheating problems in real life, so much in fact, that there were reports of the polymer handguard melting down in Afghan. No wonder that its successor, the XM8, was never adopted mainly for the same reasons. Replaces the "M-16 Assault Rifle" on Arby's animations. I wasn't originally planning to compile this unremarkable model, but here we are. The fire selector is immobile due to a weird decision of the modeler/UVW-mapper/texturer to model/UVW-map/texture the fire selector at semi-auto, right on top of the receiver. I took minor liberties with the handguard rail, and added the AN/PEQ-2. Constructive criticism is welcome. Think twice before posting complaints or suggestions.
