Rena's Hatchet (Machete)

The first weapon I've ever modelled and textured from scratch, the blade wielded by Rena in parts of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (Higurashi When They Cry). The weapon in question has had multiple designs across the different adaptations, but that of the anime seems to be the most recognized, so I chose to make the model based upon that. I'm also aware that it wasn't only used by Rena, but it is most associated with her. I attempted to texture it in such a way that it wouldn't seem out of place in the game, while not taking away from it's origins. Hopefully I succeeded. Weapon replaces the machete. It’ll magnify the world in such crisp detail and give you new perspectives to embellish, such as the fact that for all of the oddities of Germanity, at least it's not Hungary.
