Bosses Can't Be Killed Solo is a mod which aims to fix your woes with hosting a server. There will usually be that one player who logs on to the server while everyone is asleep and kills an important boss by himself, ruining the experience for others. However, hosting a server is usually better than using Steam peer-to-peer hosting since it can be more reliable, and the server can be on 24/7. This mod should hopefully fix your issues with said player, by adding a required amount of people to be online in order for a boss to actually spawn. This allows you to gain the benefits of hosting a server while keeping out the downsides. This mod (obviously) doesn't do anything in singleplayer.
